Euroclydon: An Anthem for Mariners Vocal score

Rate this book
for SATB unaccompanied
This composer's works were written for a group of farmers and craftsmen with no formal musical training. A dramatic and expressive piece, it uses block of homophonic writing contrasted with contrapuntal passages. It could be tackled by even a relatively inexperienced choir to delightful and stirring effect. The text is based on Psalm 107: 23-30 and is suitable for use during Lent.
