A fantastic self help book!

I have been anxious about life after covid-19. This book gives clear and simple activities for me to work through. It challenges me to question my thoughts and beliefs. I have completed around half of the activities but I am looking forward to doing the rest. My anxieties are already reduced! I will be using the advice in the book for many years, and encouraging my teenager to use it as well.

It is a tool that guides everyone on how to adapt to the new normal through self-exploration and eliminating the negativity for a better outlook. Covid changes individuals from a deeper level, the book suggests Change is inevitable, but its effect is dependent on how you embrace the change.
It is more of an activity book that allows readers to engage, explore, and question their inner selves. It asks self-exploratory questions through which readers self-investigate themselves and peep into their own thoughts. The author shares her own experiences and plans that make the book more engaging for the user. It helps readers to create a mind-map from the starting point to the end goals, resulting in success.

● Beginners who want to develop a reading habit.

Conclusion:

The book ‘Shaping the new normal’ suggests that to achieve success, it is important to know your dreams. Dreams will turn into your goals, Goals will create action plans and action plans will ensure your success by overcoming obstacles. It is more of a step-by-step guide to success. A few sections of the book are totally designed for the readers, where they can write their thoughts, and explore their minds. The only drawback in this book was the fact that sometimes, it gets hard to complete the activities and move on to the next chapter. However, if you give yourself some time, this can be solved. The book fulfils its purpose to guide, coach, and support the users to find the answers from within and get to their goals.

Shaping your new normal is a self-help book aimed to normalize your intake on life after Covid-19. There is no doubt that things have changed, and everyone has had to find a new normal. The book is like a personal coach giving you guidance and wisdom over something that we all never saw coming.
The guidance and help come with step by step activities and methods for the reader to go practice and implement in their life. It assists with anxieties and encourages the person to think better. This subsequently helps with your life and quality of living.

The book is organized, and each section is designed to be useful and not just packed with information that you wouldn’t know how to use. The literature was easy to understand and to follow. This is important as self-help material needs to be relatable and usable.

I recommend this book to those struggling with COVID-19 and who wish to go back to a normal life.
