About the author

George Beverly Shea was a Canadian-born American gospel singer and hymn composer. Shea was often described as "America's beloved gospel singer" and was considered "the first international singing 'star' of the gospel world," as a consequence of his solos at Billy Graham Crusades and his exposure on radio, records and television. Because of the attendance at Graham's Crusades, Shea has sung live before more people than anyone else in history.

Good, inspiring. Personal reflections on sacred songs and song writers told in a semi-autobiographical way by the late, great Bev Shea.

This publication is a two for one deal that is treasured by me because it appears my father purchased it in conjunction with the Billy Graham Crusade that we attended in Chicago (or shortly thereafter) many years ago. The "Then Sings My Soul" part is more the historical and chronological story of Shea's life. The second book highlights the songs and people that made a difference to him throughout his storied career. And what a career it was singing for Billy Graham and the ministry. And yet you can just feel the humbleness come through the pages on how amazed he was that God would use a person like him.
