Like the James Brown song goes, “Papa don’t take no mess”, that’s Jacqueline. In their teens, when Alejandro taunted her about her size, she held him under water. There were a lot of touching moments in this book. Alejandro had a reputation and not a good one, too many alliances to count. After marriage, he was so used to flirting that he didn’t pay any mind until Jacqueline had to reprimand him.
They ended up having a son, an heir, Nico Constantine, who looked like his father. Ladies beware!

Good but lacking
This story was good. However, it was lacking so much in the romance flying off the pages Department. We have the typical Katie Dowe story for this particular series, which went well as usual. It has its typical signature things within the story. However, the romance between these two just did not fly off the pages at all. The sexy scenes were good as usual however just no feelings seem to be felt within the two characters relationship.

Nice Read!
I really enjoyed reading this book about Alejandro and Jacqueline. They had a friend relationship before they discovered that there could be more between them! These two had such chemistry with each other I wonder why it took so long for them to see each other for more than friends. I think that everyone who reads this book will enjoy it. I definitely recommend it to others.

Loved this story
It was great actually having a love story with a size 18 woman with an extremely handsome man. He looked beyond size and loved her,first the friend love, which is the most important, in my opinion, then the physical love came. I did think at times she was “thinking” too much, but she finally got it.

Good read
OK I love any book this woman writes or at least any book in the series. And while I love the story it’s still leaves me a little unfulfilled with regards to their happily ever after because of the way the writer makes it hard for the lead female to trust the lead male so in my head they don’t really get over their trust issues. Other than that it’s a good story

They Got On My Nerves 😂
I loved this story. But this couple got on my last nerves. Love can be that way sometimes, up and down for no apparent reason. Even though the arguments were valid most of the time. They needed each other in the worst way. Very hot and spicy tail of love🔥 Definitely recommend reading this incredible book!!!

I have some of the others in this series and really enjoyed them... but these was bland, boring and beyond slow. What could have been a great friendship to lovers tail just missed the mark.

Fair read with a lot of emotions
This was overall a fair read, with some grammatical errors. The was great chemistry between the couple but once the became intimate it seems they were annoyingly reckless, but since it is a book it worked out in the end.
