When it comes to suitability, the first thing which we lookout is ourselves and our home. Its us who play a bigger role in our ecosystem and a small change at our home really brings out tangible outcome. At global level there are various forums this discuss and try to implement sustainable goals, there should be initiatives which needs to work from grass root level rather than chasing bigger corporates and amount of publicity which bigger corporates do on their sustainable investments.

Our race has already exploited natural resources to the core and now with consumerism and over-consumptions, it’s even more. My take on sustainable living is to move into minimalism.
This book given comprehensive account on current state of our plant and provides tips for sustainable living, most of which are practical and presented for Indian audience.

Attractive part in this book is doodles which are presented in each chapter, which is impressive, and it provides lots of recommendation for further reference especially on books, articles, and documentary.

Overall good and easy read and I believe its really going to help me in more sustainable living.

"Our future, Green-thinking mindset literally needs to be, "I want to make any change I can." This book is a well-written cumulation of facts, figures, knowledge and a whole lot of examples. Its aim is to act as a guide for anybody trying to step into a zero-waste lifestyle. While that might not be the goal of every single person reading the book, it might just be the stepping stone we need while diving into the "landfill" of zero-waste alternatives.

The book is divided into 9 parts ranging from your kitchen, personal care, wardrobe, home care, gifting and then moving towards society, city and travel. The book is an easy read, with multiple activities and side notes from the author. I loved how when all the small points about human consumption and waste generation come together they show the big picture impact.

While the recipes were fun to read, turns out Baking Soda was playing the lead role in all of them. As the horrendous facts about climate change, pollution, plastic waste building up in landfills keep coming at ya, you might feel a bit overwhelmed by the end of the book.
