Beautiful read!

A boy and his father shop for groceries and cook a meal together in this low-level beginning reader. The 47 words used are listed at the front so kids can pre-read them to aid comprehension, and colorful illustrations give readers context clues, making this a solid, if unremarkable, additional purchase for first-readers collections.

Not a thrilling read, but its a wholesome (first reader) story about a boy who goes shopping with his dad. They buy a bunch of healthy foods and then prepare a delicious meal for mom! It's the dream family!

A good 1st level reader with a good story as well. Dad and his son are going to the grocery and making a good dinner for Mom. What a great idea! Easily read by my new reader.
