Sasquatch Central: High Strangeness at a Northern Minnesota Homestead

Rate this book
I have been a Bigfoot researcher in the state of Minnesota for over 30 years, dedicated to the pursuit of a giant hairy upright walking manlike or apelike creature that keeps being encountered by scores of people year after year but has even more people scoffing and insisting that it can not and does not exist. What a surprise it was near the end of 2019 to find that there was a place in Minnesota a three hours’ drive from my home in the city of Moorhead (sister city to Fargo, North Dakota) where there was reported to be a consistent and perhaps even permanent Bigfoot presence within a few square miles of private property. Hands down, it quickly became the single most intense Bigfoot case I have ever investigated. This is the story of my first-hand experiences, interviews with witnesses, and subsequent research that would follow from these encounters.

When I first saw this as an ebook I thought it was fiction and I love strange creature novels but it turned out to be even better. A non fiction! If your not open for the idea that there might be creatures we don't know about roaming the earth, you'll probably won't like it. But I found it fascinating and very well written. I'm sure there is a lot more on earth than we can possible imagine or handle of we knew about them and that is so exciting for me.

A sasquatch researcher delves into evidence and sightings on an isolated piece of land in Minnesota. There are a lot of tree knocks, foot prints, and the like, even hair and sightings, but no actual pictures or anything.

After a while, I began to wonder if perhaps there wasn't some kind of mass hysteria or something, it all seems so crazy. I'm not sure anyone there was acting rationally.

Good for the sasquatch researcher.

Much Bigfoot Strangeness Indeed

This was a fascinating account of a very active habitation site. The landowner is a musician who began having unusual things happening in his property. A large number of deer kills with evidence that something occurred, but the remains are not always found began a mystery that continues to the present. Footprints, calls, wood knocks and more entice Bigfoot researchers to visit the property and conduct research. The author interviewed and spent a great deal of time at the property and experienced some of these events himself. So much has happened that it is an ongoing project. This is an open minded account of some strange and unusual occurrences that surprised the authors and others. Some events were frightening and disturbing and it must be difficult to live there. I hope another book will follow up on the latest happenings. One was added after the book has gone to press and it was incredible. A must read for cryptid lovers.

Not Just a Chapter

I was pleasantly surprised to read a book-length investigation of Bigfoot. It is very disappointing to select a book on this subject to discover it is no more than one or two chapters long. Not only was this what I consider a book, it was informative and kept my interest throughout. If you are intrigued by the notion that Bigfoot/Sasquatch could be real, you will enjoy reading about this northern Minnesota homestead.

Interesting book. Ties in with the recently touted idea that Sasquatch is not a flesh and blood animal but a form of outdoor poltergeist. Too much is being read into the physical evidence presented, but the witnesses themselves seem genuine. Would suit someone who has already done some reading on the subject.

I actually thought this was going to be better. It's written more like a report than a story. There is a lot of activity at this private residence for sure. The most interesting event that happened was the sorting of peanut butter jar lids. It's interesting that bigfoot would did this!

Very interesting novel. I thought it was well written and focused on facts rather than hype. The included photos were very interesting as well.
