I have read Mossad Extraction, it's the second book about Jack Storm extractor extraordinaire by Ethan Jones. Who can you trust? That is a big part of Jack's reality. The Israelis, the Russians or your dinner date? This series is getting more intriguing by every book. Is Jack's wife and child dead or alive? Can he trust Nora? Well read the books and find out. There is lots of action and lots of deception and for those that think Canadians are mild, polite and timid, think again. I really recommend this series and thank Ethan for giving me the opportunity to read them.

Amazing new series! Ethan Jones is always captivating me with his fascinating thrillers!
5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

“For self-preservation, we mostly remember the good things from the past.”

This book kept me on the edge of my seat with action, deception, danger, suspense, and intrigue. The story telling is gripping, I found myself having to remember to breathe, because of the suspense, action, intrigue and the dangerous situations that Storm found himself in, with deception in every corner. I was so filled with nervous tension with the gripping and thrilling events that kept unfolding at every turn!
-The realistic aspect, plot, and twists makes it not only an entertaining read but also has a great meaning behind it. I highly recommend this series. Looking forward to reading Extracted Asset #3!

Great action adventure!

Jack is back doing what he does best, extracting a foreign asset. He has help from his trusted colleague Riley but needs to work alongside other teams to find and extract the asset. There is some friction and double crossing, who can he trust, who will turn on him, will he get out alive?

I'm loving this series and the characters! The free short story was a welcome bonus - The Escape (Jack Storm 2.1).

I now see Nora in a different light...... hmmm, intriguing or dangerous?
More please!

This international spy thriller is full of twists and turns as Jack struggles to extract a Mossad agent from Lebanon. Jack and Riley don’t know who to trust as international spy agencies and individual operatives complicate the operation. Great characters, complex plots, deception, and betrayal result in a face paced, extremely exciting book.

I received a free book and voluntarily gave a review.

Mossad Extraction - a review by Rosemary Kenny

Master of the International Spy-Thriller, Ethan Jones, is on top form as usual, with Book 2 in his riveting, adrenaline-pumping, Jack Storm series, Mossad Extraction.

It opens in Lebanon, where CIS agent Jack Storm, his partner, Riley Booker and two Mossad agents are trying to rescue Abrams, a kidnapped agent, only to find he's been moved elsewhere.
One of the Israelis is wounded as the mission is aborted, so their team now moves on via New York. Jack goes to a Russian oligarch's party, where he meets a female SVR agent, just before a gunfight erupts. Who is Bronia - friend or foe?
A violent, cat-and-mouse game of hunt-the-asset, continues internationally and lives are at risk.
Can Jack save the day? Whom can he trust?

Mission accomplished, Jack returns to his lonely, single life, constantly hoping for news of his lost family, presumed killed in a plane crash.
Who is Laura? What is she hiding?
What news does Jack receive, that gives him faint hope of an explanation, about why the plane fell from the skies - and if they may yet be alive?

A complex, flawed MC, Jack Storm is a believable hero along the lines of Jason Bourne, Ethan Hunt (and even a smidgeon of 007), as he deals with personal doubts and the need to be hard-headed and alert while on duty, dealing with a variety of situations over which he may have very little control.
Make sure to read Mossad Extraction, plus Book 1, The Extractor, by the incredible Ethan Jones, (ahead of Book 3 that's on its way), without delay.
Danger - like satisfaction - is guaranteed!

This Ethan Jones novel will make your head spin – fast paced, and filled with conflicts in agendas, deception, back-stabbing and murder. A Canadian Extractor is teamed with current and ex-Mossad agents, in addition to SVR agents and Hamas, in a series of operations which seem to all go sideways. The 2nd in the Jack Storm series, Mossad Extractor will leave the reader totally exhausted and exhilarated at the same time.

This is book #2 in Ethan Jones newest spy thriller about Extractor Jack Storm. He again is paired with Riley as his partner with the Canadian agency. This time they are teamed up with agencies from other countries for an operation in Lebanon so what could go wrong?? With twists and turns, and some of Murphy's law, this keeps your interest until the end. It then leaves you wanting to move right into book #3!!!

Jack Storm and Riley Booker of the Canadian Intelligence Service (CIS) are partnered again and with operatives from Mossad are tasked with the extraction of a kidnapped Mossad operative from a suspected terrorist house in south Lebanon. The operation goes wrong and the blame game is commenced. This takes Jack and Riley into peril in various places, in Northern Israel, then New York where they are to meet a Mossad agent and a Russian business man, then France and Russia. From the outset, Jack has questions about Vaniah, the Mossad agent, and it is here that they meet an attractive Russian female, who they suspect from the outset works for Russia’s foreign intelligence agency, the SVR. Rebuffed by the Russian business man at first, but after a Hamas operative attacks the business man and is neutralised by Jack, the Russian agrees to help Jack with intelligence.
The story sees apparent co-operation between the various intelligence services, the CIS with Mossad and the SVR, but all is not as it seems and there is a lack of trust between the services much of the time. Eventually however, the extraction of the kidnapped Mossad operative is made and Jack returns home, where another surprise turn occurs with a female neighbour who is making a move on Jack. During this time, Jack is also still thinking about the loss of his wife and daughter following the crash of the Cessna 172 they were flying back to the UK on from Denmark and bits and pieces of information regarding the location of a possible plane wreck filter through to him.
Impossible to put down because of the ongoing action, which maintains the reader’s interest throughout. A great read!

In this story, Jack Storm, a CIS extractor, and his partner, Riley Booker, a rookie who is learning quickly to trust Jack, are assigned to extract a kidnapped Mossad agent out of Lebanon, while working with Mossad and Russian agents, who have their own separate agendas. First, they have to find him. Their intelligence is sketchy and misleading, causing several disastrous botched attempts, for which Jack is somehow blamed. He cannot trust anyone except Riley, so he doesn’t want to work with the other agents, but his boss (who has a directorship position in his sights) insists that interagency cooperation is a must. As the contacts require Jack to travel to several cities around the globe, he is forced to repeatedly place himself and Riley in danger of unfriendly and “friendly” fire. Can they guess right about who to trust in each situation and survive to rescue the kidnapped agent?

This story is well-written, with vivid descriptions and strong characters which drew me in and kept me glued to the pages, not knowing who to trust and wondering what else could possibly go wrong next. I highly recommend all of Mr. Jones’ books – he continues to prove that a writer can produce great action-packed books using clean language, no sex scenes, and without overly graphic descriptions of blood and guts. I received an ARC – this review is my honest opinion. I pre-ordered a copy to support this great writer. I am eager to read the rest of this excellent series.

Jack Storm is a highly trained CIS operative who is highly skilled in extractions. This time around he is tasked with extracting a kidnapped Mossad agent from Lebanon. Things are not quite as Jack expected especially as he’s working alongside the Mossad and very soon they get even more complicated he has to involve Russia's SVR. They soon realize they have stumbled into a real hornet's nest. Each group has different agendas and loyalties appear to be questionable and shifting. This is a non stop action packed spy thriller. After one begins reading it is impossible to put the book down. Every page has a new surprise or unexpected turn. At all stages Jack and Riley do not know who to trust or why the kidnapped Mossad agent has become a target. If you enjoy international spy thrillers which are action packed with subterfuge, intrigue and lots of action you will thoroughly enjoy this book. I also believe that Ethan has left a clue as to the future for Jack in the book when he writes about Jack overhearing Nora having a conversation. Of course you’ll have to read this book to know what I’m talking about.

Full of treachery and action

How do you get the job done when you can’t trust anyone you are forced to work with and you don’t really understand what’s going on? This book is action packed. Jack and Riley get into all kinds of perilous situations and cause some trouble of their own. I was kept guessing throughout the book trying to figure out who the culprit was and the reason for the kidnapping. I am also so intrigued by the questions surrounding Jack’s family’s disappearance. Are they still alive or dead? Why did it happen? Can’t wait for the next book to find out more.

A Nail-biter And Lots Of Missed Opportunities

Jack and Riley are on the trail of a Hamas terrorist while trying to recover a missing Mossad agent in Lebanon. The terrorist can lead to the recovery of said Mossad operative but he's being held by a former Mossad agent who thinks the Agency is dragging their feet in affecting said recovery. With the many missteps and faulty intelligence the task has become very hit-or-miss and tempers and personalities clash. This book keeps you glued to its pages and engrossed to the end.

Working as a spy, or a spy “extractor” is difficult as telling the good guys from the bad guys is a challenge!! Do you trust the Russians, Mossad, an ex-Mossad agent, or anybody?

Once again Jack Storm faces the “who to trust” challenge while working alongside his partner Riley, as they work to extract an Israeli asset after he was kidnapped! But what was this asset even doing, and why was he where he was at the time of his capture? All this adds to the mystery and intrigue as Jack works to do his job.

Add to this the pressure from his boss, and throw in the mystery of what really happened to his wife and daughter, and you have a compelling book that is difficult to put down!

I was really impressed with the first book of this new series, The Extractor, and wondered if I’d enjoy Mossad Extraction as much. Could the author replicate that stunning opener? Of course he could and he did. Ethan Jones is one of the best in the business when it comes to action thrillers. Every time he releases a new book he once again proves that to be true. This time Jack Storm finds himself having to work with opposing agents that he’s probably more used to working against. I won’t give away the story but the author really twists and turns this one with potential double crosses throughout. It’s a great thrill ride from the first page to the last with a story that is first class and that combined with the author's talent for writing an action scene make this a sure fire hit.

Ethan Jones continues in his great thriller/spy adventures. Jack Storm & his "understudy" Riley Booker are given a mission to extract a kidnapped Mossad agent from Lebanon. Twists & turns galore, not to mention travel from the mideast to Europe to Canada. Jack is on thin ice with his agency (Canadian Intelligence Service) & needs to complete this mission or he may be bounced out. Teamed up, against his better judgement, with a current Mossad agent & Russian SVR agents, it is hard to know who to trust. Friend one minute & then being stabbed in the back as it were. I've enjoyed all of Mr. Jones' previous books/series & this new Jack Storm series (this is Book # 2) is no exception. Hang on tight or you may suffer from whiplash.

James Bond like-dash through several countries with knives out and guns blasting - 4 stars

This is an international thriller, very similar to James Bond movies in which the hero - Jack Storm in this case - is nearly killed by almost every player. In Mossad Extraction there were Israelis, Russians, Emiratis, Hamas, and English MI6, in addition to Mossad operatives. Our Canadian heroes, Jack Storm and Riley Booker -- both of the Canadian Intelligence Service (CIS) put in exemplary service providing extraction services. Only a few agencies were not involved: Interpol, FBI, CIA, Taliban, Chinese, and North Koreans. (Not a spoiler -- there were plenty of "bad guys and girls").

Most times after the shooting stopped, there was a kidnapping. In this story, the CIS was trying to undo an abduction of a Mossad operative. Just like the Bond stories, the abductors could not kill whoever they abducted but the guard staff was often careless, resulting in a high proportion of the guards being killed.

When Jack got into a brawl, he bled a little but got up almost immediately and gave more than he got.

The story picks up as Jack is trying to reconcile the loss of his wife and daughter; there is some uncertainty whether Jack's wife and daughter are still alive. Nevertheless, there are a couple of women who flirt with Jack. Nora is a Canadian who Jack is considering asking into his life. I predict we will be seeing more of Nora in the next installment.

Mossad Extraction is go, go, go action with no time to catch your breath. Sometimes the dust does not settle until Jack gets out of town.

There were two memorable scenes -- Jack taking out a hostage in order to shoot a terrorist and Jack trying to avoid getting shot at close range in the galley of a small ship. Excitement of high order. Read and enjoy!

Mossad Extraction is the second book in the Jack Storm series. Storm continues his work for the Canadian Intelligence Service as an agent who is tasked to extract people who are in terrible situations. In this book, Storm is told to extract a Mossad agent who was captured by the bad guys. He works with several other foreign agencies and freelancers. The writer does an outstanding job in detailing the agendas of the various agencies and the difficulty in interagency cooperation. Each group has their own agendas that both help and hinder the operation. The operation leads one from country to country and certainly kept my interest from the first chapter to the end. It’s an excellent “thriller” and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys this genre.

Mossad Extraction is a great addition to the new Jack Storm spy series

Ethan Jones has added to his excellent series of Canadian spy novels with the genre here being extracting fellow Canadian Intelligence Service (CIS) agents or other personnel from places where their safety is at risk. The person in this novel is an agent of Israeli’s spy agency, Mossad.

As with all of Ethan Jones’ books, it’s a thrilling ride as Jack Storm follows his slim leads to find the Mossad agent and does his best to stay safe during his travels.

So heads-up, it’s virtually impossible to stop reading once you start. But the ride is well-worth it!

Mossad Extraction book 2 in the Jack storm series by Ethan Jones is a great read. The author has continued in his development of the main characters in this story about the intervention and betrayal of several countries security agents to derail the peace process in the middle east in order to feather their own nests. Jack is betrayed by agents he is assigned to work with to find and help the kidnapped Mossad Agent. As he is blind sided left and right and the ops repeatedly scuttled, he becomes suspicious of his comrades in the attempt to find and the kidnapped agent. When all is said and done he comes out on top with an action packed conclusion. I great read in this continuing series.

Jack Storm is a spy extractor for the Canadian Intelligence Service. He is still struggling with a plane crash that may/may not have killed them. His job is to extract a Mossad agent from Lebanon. He and his partner soon find out they don’t know who they can trust. Between Mossad and theRussian SVR it becomes a series of back stabbing and double crossing as they travel around the world to get this job done, A very well written story line, non stop action from beginning to end and an awesome cast of characters will keep you busy from beginning to end !
