Disappointing. Not a lot of words. Not organized around a concept. Not deep in providing context.

Vastly inferior to the C. T. Onions Oxford Dictionary of Etymology (1966) - fewer entries, no system of identifying roots/languages, some arguable inaccuracies, etc. Worst of all no list of meanings of First Names, one of the great extras of Onions. Trying to score a new copy of that myself actually but Rare and getting Pricier!
