Hello. I’m Sebastian Chambers. I live an on-and-off life. I get on, she gets off, and I get out...as fast as I can. I love women – generally over me or under me – but commitment? Never. I’m a devoted friend, loyal to a fault, and I’m killer in the courtroom. Those are my commitments. She thinks I’m redeemable, lovable. She’s so young, so innocent…so untouchable.Oh, Nina. You have so much to learn…and I have so much I want to teach you.“The Fresh French Connection” is the sequel to “Tell Me Why, Jannie”. While it can be read as a standalone, it serves best as dessert to the first in the series.
OMG, I absolutely loved this and it totally hooked me from the very start. With an exciting and intriguing storyline that’s full of emotions, beauty, relatable characters. This book was excellent. I was immediately drawn into the world of these two characters - Sebastian Chambers and Nina.
I haven’t slept since I bought the book. It has stayed with me since the first reading. From the opening scenes of this book, I was pulled in. I followed the thoughtful yet enthralling story from start to finish with so much excitement.
Everything about this book held my attention. There is emotion, romance and much more that will intrigue you and make you need to know what happens next! Get ready to dive into this story that captures a journey of two people. A story that keeps your attention from beginning to end and leaves you craving for more! You won't be disappointed!
There is no way that any review could live up to this book. It is utterly fabulous. It reels you in and never lets you go. I have neither the words nor the talent to adequately describe how much I enjoyed reading this book.
Language of the book is lucid. It's an amazing story for light reading and totally according to my reading taste. It takes an exceptional writer to write a story without going too fast. This book is truly a masterpiece - simply because of the feelings it invokes in the reader.
I won't say much about the plot, except to say there's something so interesting to read for everyone. I loved the whole atmosphere surrounding the book and especially the characters and their different personality. I loved learning more about Sebastian and seeing the depth to him. He’s so much more than you think. I LOVE how he first began with Nina, perfect for his personality. Plus you get more insight into what happened with Colt.
Such an amazing book. The characters, the story, the setting, the plot, everything is so perfect and was according to my reading taste.
This book starts with the back story of Tell Me Why Jannie, then it gets better. How does it get better you ask? It gets better because playboy Sebastian gets brought down by Nina. In true Annie Mick fashion there are trials and laughter in this book. I think Annie has managed to refine the way our everyday lives are lived into a great read. Each character is well rounded. You feel like like could be your best friend. She does this without a lot of unnecessary words or description, much like your mind would do when thinking of your friend. I find Annie Mick books to be great reads for days when unplugging from my world and visiting someone else's is a necessity!!
By just saying i liked this story would be an understatement. This book as well as the first book were about strong friendships in men and you just don’t read about those kind of story’s very often. As in a lot of romances there is a lot of sappy conversations but there were a lot of conversations that sounded like real people talking. I didn’t even mind the smutty cuss words, it made it more believable.! I would recommend this book as well as the 1st book to most of my friends, not all because some just aren’t into sexy love story’s but ,that is their loss!
The Fresh French Connection by Annie Mick is a good, and enjoyable age gap friends to lovers second chance romance read. The story has a great entertaining story line. The characters are great, and they have great chemistry. This story is a very entertaining second chance romance read. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
