Meanwhile, his boss, Charles is worried that the company's money has been mysteriously disappearing and thinks it high time that his son Max started working for the family firm. But Max, Charles' son doesn't imagine he will ever be cut out to be an estate agent. While Zoe doesn't trust men and is concerned about her friend Julia, Tracy, the receptionist is only looking outfor her own back. Then Obadiah, the Orthodox Jewish accountant who is obsessed with justice being done comes onto the scene. Perhaps Julia and Neil's pet, Mabel the Maine Coone cat is the only one who knows what is really going on ... This humorous story, set in the North-East of England, deals with lies, greed, bullying, addictions , murder and people not quite being who they seem to be.
