Good, however a bit high level. Additional chapters about query tuning and execution plans will be helpful.

Impressive.
From my standpoint, it's a COMPLETE resource on Presto. All my questions have been addressed. In fact, the book covers a lot of ground - probably far more than I actually need :). My favourite chapter was the one about query building and optimisations - the initial example was perfectly chosen to illustrate how it works. Intro to Presto architecture is very well presented as well.
Recommended.

I love books that are written by (creators) engineers for (users) engineers. And they are even better when creators explain why they've created given technology, and why I as a user should consider using it. And why not (that's even more important).

This book covers a lot of stuff, from basic to real-world solutions. I've started reading this book to understand Presto as a technology and it's use cases. After the reading and playing with it a bit I can say that I've received much more that I've been looking for. My favorite chapters are two main chapters about SQL building & optimization, a lot of useful stuff there & about integrating presto with other tools, that also give a perspective for what I can use this.

So why not 5 stars if this book is such a good read? Still, I'd like to receive more about query optimization, especially with different connectors usages.

Great book, I read it because I manage a Presto/Trino production cluster and learned a lot from architecture principles, connectors, SQL, and security (especially the Kerberos part).
The structure of the book was very intuitive for me as like to read linearly without skipping chapters.
The progression of the topics felt natural and the writing was not dry at all, it actually kept me engaged and I finished the book much faster than I had expected when I first started reading it.

A great reference book that cover almost everything you should know to deploy, operate and administrate a Trino/Presto Cluster.

Great! Some things I knew, but this structured way forms a much more complete understanding. And the chapters on tuning are simply invaluable.
