I never touch NA books simply because I don't enjoy reading about sex. This series is just about that. BDSM. And surprisingly, I loved it a little too much.
First of all, it's INFORMATIONAL. there's a lot of things mentioned before, during and after the scenes, explained with full reasons that made me go, "Huh, that's actually fun."
I feel like my perception that BDSM could only be gross came from the fact that women get (more often than not) humiliated in the name of sex in most books. So I just chose to stay away but fsr decided to go in for a ride anyway.
Sakuatsu were GOOD. it's a very consensual act, very respectful and explores desires in a NORMAL way that doesn't make me want to die from cringe. There's so much emotion involved, not just a typical "top" having his way. I loved every single bit of it.
I'm still very surprised that I liked this.
