This book was very interesting. I especially liked the way the aliens were handled, for example because of the climate on their home planet temperatures that are considered hot by the human characters are cold to the aliens. The villains were fleshed out and felt like real people with their own motives. Towards the end the prophesy that the main character is thought to be there to fulfil is called into question, and I liked the way that was handled. Looking forward to reading more from this author.

The story was good. It started put but picked up the pace toward the end. Not a bad read.
