He was protecting those he loved.... She wanted him to notice her and when he did, she knew she could never let him go. #Unputdownable
Amanda (Mandy) Gilchrist was just baffled by her colleague. One minute he was her rock and the next he couldn't get away from her fast enough...only to land himself in jail. Her bosses now hate him and wouldn't help him cross the street let alone post bail, so it was up to her — except someone got to him first. What the heck was going on? By now he must realize he needs her help… And it’s going to cost him because this time she’s not going to turn a blind eye.
Mandy’s going to make sure David sees her skills as a PI and as a woman too — one he’s got ‘tied up inside and out’.
Because he may not know it yet but they’re both looking for exactly the same thing.
David aka Hack Varetti is in deep. A little finagling with the FBI and maybe he'll get his life back on track but there’s no guarantees. Making the wrong associations only landed him in the clink, but now he's got a second chance --- to fix his life. And to take care of her. Because, although Mandy doesn't know it yet she needs something only he can give her, and he can't wait to show her how a Dom brings his Sub to fulfillment because it's something she'll never forget.
Even though the last thing he wanted to do was involve her in his mess, afraid she’d get hurt.
He knew, if he wanted her to trust him again, he was going to have to work for it.
Everyone's got to learn the ropes sometime...
“I love the way this amazing author brings the characters to life before your eyes and makes you feel their emotions .... I can hardly wait to see what's next…” ~ 5 stars, Amazon Reviewer
The steamy standalone novels in Tara Eldana’s, Kinklink series are best read in
TAKING THE LEADMAKING THE SWITCH GETTING TO FOREVER REACHING FOR FOREVER
Tara Eldana is a recently retired, multi-award-winning staff writer for a weekly community newspaper chain in metro Detroit. She became hooked on romance fiction when her eleventh grade English teacher rejected the book report she wrote, saying the book was too easy for her, and insisting she read and report on Daphne du Maurier's "Rebecca."
After complications after surgery 10 years ago, and covering numerous murder trials and other crime stories on her beat, she decided to write what she loves to read - stories with happy endings.
"Getting To Forever" is a standalone novel written by the author Tara Eldana. It is the third novel in the KinkLink series. Amanda Gilchrist aka Mandy and David Varetti were licensed private investigators. Their bosses Ryan and Reece at R & R Investigations hate David. David was charged with one round of kidnapping. Since he didn't have any previous criminal record, a bond was set at $75000. Mandy checked David's accounts and found that they are empty.
Mandy is ready to use her credit card to bail for David. But before she could do it, someone else gave the bail for David. The former R & R receptionist was fired and Hack wasn't proud of his involvement with Bria. Bria also had a gambling problem. Mandy wanted to pull David out of any trouble. Will David wisely use the second chance he has got? Grab a copy of this novel and find out yourself what happens next.
This is an amazing story. There are many characters in the story. Length of the book is fine and one could read it in two to three sittings. Writing style of author is nice. Language is simple and easy to follow. Cover photo looks super attractive. Looking forward to read next book of the KinkLink series by Tara.
"You hold the power. One word stops anything we do."
I wasn't sure about David... His actions in the last book painted him as a bad guy. This book - his and Mandy's story - explains his situation, making everything he did understandable, even if Ryan hasn't been able to forgive him yet. Mandy's been interested in him for a while, but he doesn't do forever. The story is complex. David's relationship with Mandy/Tink is sexy and complicated. His rope skills are fascinating, as is her trust in him. This was just a wonderful book. I'm so glad that I had the opportunity to read it, and I'm looking forward to the next one.

Amanda and David (Hack) work together at R&R. Only Hack has been let go and now in more trouble. Only know one really knows hes really working to stop a trafficing ring and bring down Manning. The man that is responsible for his mothers problems. And the father of Ryans wife. Hack is tough but Tink brings out his softer side. I love her spunky atitude and they way they are together. This book has it all Suspense, Drama, and Hot scenes that could melt your kindle. I am leaving my honest voluntary review for a copy I recieved from Hidden Gems.
Twists and turns, suspense, chemistry, and love. These two are a perfect fit but do not realize it yet. She sees a good quality in him and he just wants her and her safety. Enjoyable and entertaining

My favorite character in "Getting to Forever," Book 3 in the KinkLink series and a standalone, is Siegfried. Happiest holidays from Siegfried! Here's one of my favorite scenes.
Tink stood, dancing in a circle. Unable to resist her, he took hold of her waist and lifted her slight weight as high as he could. She went stiff and still. What the hell? He eased her down. Her face was chalk white. He lifted her into his arms and cradled her against his chest, as if he had every right, and sprinted through her house to an old-fashioned couch. He settled them, so she was in his lap. She had a little more color now, but her skin was damp, though not clammy. “What’s going on?” he asked, afraid of her answer. Was she ill, hiding something she battled silently? She shut her eyes and turned her face into his chest. His blood ran cold, and his breathing was ragged. He had to know. “Talk to me, please, Tink.” She lifted her beautiful face to his. “It’s heights. I’m scared of heights. You put me up so fast. I wasn’t expecting it. I don’t do heights well. If I go slow and don’t look down… Ironic, right? I’m so short, so everything…” She was so sweet and cute and kissable. He would lose his mind if he couldn’t have a taste. Just a little taste. He tilted her chin, so he wouldn’t smash her glasses, and settled his lips against her softness. She opened for him so sweetly, he forgot his resolve to go slow. She slid her tongue against his. He deepened the kiss, devouring her like a starving man. Her fingers slid into his hair. He pressed her back then down into the cushions, taking care not to crush her with his weight when something butted into his side, hard. “Baaaaa.” What the ----? He tore his mouth away from Tink to stare into the eyes of a goat, with horns. “Siegfried, bad goat,” Tink scolded. He let her up. “He broke out of his pen, again. I must have left the back door unlatched. I need to fix it because it won’t latch the way it should. He head butts his way in.” Suddenly a look of dread came over her face. “Crap, the garbage.” She ran to the back of the house, followed by Siegfried. Hack followed and groaned. The trashcan was on its side, and contents strewn across the kitchen floor. Tink’s cheeks were beet red. She stomped her foot. “Bad goat.” She was adorable. “I’ll tie you up, you wicked goat. See if I don’t.” He watched in amazement as Siegfried hung his head like he was sad because he knew he was in trouble. She took hold of his horns and shoved him outside. “Baaa,” the goat protested. She returned, holding her purse and wearing shoes. Her lips were swollen from his kiss, and her hair tumbled free from the way she piled it up on her head. “We should go to midtown,” she said, as her stomach growled. “Get there before dark.”
After all this time, can Mandy really forget about the man with the sexy smile? And will David be able to walk away even though that's the plan? Amanda and David agree to the arrangement but David's legal problems continue to spiral as another case catches his attention that will only lead danger to Amanda's doorstep. Little does he know, Amanda is already there.
Technically each book can be read separately. Yet to fully capture the essence, start at book one for this is where the main story begins to take shape. It's true each book features a kink but it is secondary to the thrilling suspense that comes from being a private investigator.
This was David & Amanda’s book. Amanda (Mandy) Gilchrist was just baffled by her colleague. One minute he was her rock and the next he couldn't get away from her fast enough...only to land himself in jail. A little finagling with the FBI and maybe he'll get his life back on track but there’s no guarantees. Because, although Mandy doesn't know it yet she needs something only he can give her, and he can't wait to show her how a Dom brings his Sub to fulfillment because it's something she'll never forget. This one had lots of twists. And am voluntarily leaving my review.
Getting to Forever by Tara Eldana is a good, and enjoyable second chance small town romance read. The story has a good story line. The characters are good, and they have good chemistry.

I enjoyed this book even though I had not read the first two in the series. It can be read as a stand alone, however, I think I would have enjoyed it more knowing the back story of the other characters. Strongly suggest starting with first book in the series. Will probably go back and read first two books….
Lots of plot twists and turns with surprises. Dave/Hack causes some of his own problems trying to protect those around him. Lucky for him Amanda/Tink cuts him slack and get him like no one else. Even though there is some kink there are really no triggers and a few chuckles along the way.
The two main characters Mandy and David originally worked together as private investigators . The couple obviously have a chemistry but there are many twists and turners going on especially with David until eventually he gets arrested. Not everything is as it seems .
A good easy quick and steamy read.
The book is part of a series alone can be read as standalone .
My only criticism is that it is a bit repetitive in reference to characters in the previous book when it’s not necessary. 3.5/5

Complex, detailed, sexy, my kinda story... I'm not one to tell the story but I so enjoyed this flawlessly crafted mesmerising read which brought everything to the table... Humour, humility, bravery, the complimentary smarts, lust, love, danger & the most extraordinary main characters that shouldn't have, couldn't have, like yin & yang but hail Mary they just got it on even when the odds were against them. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.
The writing style of this book wasn't it for me. Even though the book is short, it felt like a lifetime. It wasn't necessarily because the story wasn't interesting, but it was because the writing felt like too much.
