I was given this book by a rl friend of mine who I had recommended it to. She loves paranormal and since Doreen was a member of the BookObsessed forum and had mentioned the book I thought I would recommend it. Unfortunately the book was a bit to erotic for my friend. But great for me as she gave me the book to read. I LOVED it.
I sat up late into the night to finish it because I could not put it down. It is a multi-layered tale of love, romance, and horror. A whole new world of vampires that makes you want to read more, even after you finish the story of Diana & Lucian. I can see a whole fantastic series evolving from this book and the vampires of Mina Cove. Looking forward to more from Doreen Orsini!!
I loved the story of Diana & Lucian, two soul mates from different worlds, but I also really enjoyed the entire Vampire World that is Mina's Cove and the introduction to the Isle of Fentmore. I can see a whole series evolving out of this book and really do look forward to reading it. The romance between Diana & Lucian touches your heart. I will admit that I even got teary eyed a time or two. My only complaint about the entire book would be that during the erotic sex scenes (and there are plenty of them) the author was a bit vulgar with her vocabulary, which imo took away somewhat from the whole romantic aspect of the book. But this would be a very small complaint and would not keep me from reading more by this author.

Really enjoyed this book. Recommended by a friend who knew I liked vampire novels. This was a really good story, interesting characters and highly erotic. If you like vampire, paranormal and romance, you're in for a treat.
