The original was written by Faulkner and titled "the Reivers." This is just a cheap rip off of that classic work. Winning a race with a fast mule starts the story. The mule is killed and the revenge for the killing slow. Plenty of sex in this story. Frankly, I am not impressed at all. There is enough difference from the Reivers in the plot, but it still comes across as a cheap imitation.
