It was interesting to read about how she lived. It was not so long ago but seems like a different world. I liked her example of showing love to her children and grandchildren, and her steady support and dedication to her husband. I was surprised to see the long hours and hectic work schedule of a general authority of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It was a life of service.
Not really what I expected, but I really enjoyed a glimpse into her life at a time when so much change was happening. It was so easy to relate to her comments about housework (or actual work on the house) would never end. I loved that she wrote to her children and grandchildren so regularly. It's a relatively short, easy read.
Lovely tribute to their mother. The children and grandchildren of Marjorie Pay Hinckley compiled letters and cards she had written to them over the years.
