THIS WILD RIDE OF LIFE
A great addition to this series is a spinoff from The Manor series, where we meet Gabriel Ryan at his BDSM club, The Eros Pit in Denver, Colorado. After the attack on Sophia, Dakota Reed will be handling The Sea Single Night event at the club. She is also one of the submissives participating—and will be the last to draw a marker. Ryker Laffitte is one of the Doms also participating—better known as The Bad Boy of Eternal Eros. The story will be about Dakota and Ryker and begins with the luck of the draw!

Skye’s sperm donor made it known early in the pregnancy he did not want a child and to leave him alone—which she honored, no child support, nothing.
Ryker Laffitte is a man who has a reputation as a bad boy, wearing his hair long, not involved in relationships, just playing at the club. He has never married, never collared a submissive, and keeps his personal life quiet. He has a motorcycle shop and rides a Harley. He’s everything a girl’s parent warns her to avoid.

While Ryker keeps things quiet, he enlisted the services of his attorney to help Dakota and Skye. Ryker never felt he would fall for a woman, especially one with a kid; he has fallen hard for Dakota and Skye.

I can’t wait to see where this series will go. I loved the characters, the angst, the chemistry, mystery, suspense, danger, and passion. The story has dominance and submission, with some discipline and explicit sex scenes, in and out of Eternal Eros. I’ve marked my calendar for the next book.

This book would be a five star review except for two points. When Dakota's ex sues her for full custody of the child he has never met and never paid child support for, instead of just hiring a lawyer (especially since she has proof (copies of e-mails) detailing how he didn't want their daughter), she somehow decides that she needs a fiance, and then Ryker volunteers. Plus, there's a part at the end that I won't go into that's equally unrealistic... but still.
The relationship between Ryker and Dakota's daughter is the cutest thing ever. She calls him "Bear" and they adore each other. Plus, the relationship between Ryker and Dakota is surprisingly solid (considering everything) and I loved how Dakota's work family came together to help her with her custody battle as well. Overall, this is a great book with a few bits that strain incredulity long enough to take me out of the story.

Dakota works as the EA for the owner of a bdsm club. She is a single parent of a toddler.She hosts a party for the owners who one night and participates in the games where you draw straws For your partner. She gets the last straw which is bad boy biker man Ryker. They scene together and he’s a lot different than she thought. He’s never been in a committed relationship but he feels a deep Connection to Dakota that night—who he’s actually known for several years but very casually. He chases Dakota and then some drama with her baby daddy with the hea for the win.

The relationship was so well written and I'm always here for a good single mom romance! I hated hated hated the drama and that the hero hid it from the heroine which is why this is 4 stars instead of 5 but still a super sweet and spicy single mom story.

I don't know how I missed this one, but somehow in the chaos of my life I did and I'm certainly glad I realized it because 'Midnight Mystique' is one of the most gripping, heart-wrenching, butterfly-inducing, chemically-charged, panty-melting, BDSM romances I've read in a while. Dakota has worked as the executive assistant to Gabe, the owner of Eternal Eros, for three years. She was hired a few months before her daughter was born. If you've followed the series then you'll know that Gabe's submissive, Sophia, had gone through a harrowing situation and that this point was still healing from things. Dakota was asked to step in and handle the Dungeon Singles Night, which she did with all the Doms' assistance. Even though she was the one to organize everything, Dakota was still participating and had decided she would take the last marker after all the other submissives had chosen. Who was the last pick? Ryker, the club playboy. He's the one man who seemed to intimidate her and made her skin feel three times too small when she was around him. They'd known each other for all these years but had never had a scene together. The chemistry was off the chart and each had felt more than they ever had with anyone else. That started this adventure and it only got better from there. I can't begin to describe what an outstanding, relatable storyline this was. I couldn't put it down.

Redeeming the bad boy
Just missing out on a 5 star rating by a hair!
I absolutely loved this book. I think I have a new favourite by Anya Summers. Ryker is the bad boy at Club Eros and at singles night gets paired with Dakota. Dakota is a single mom and one night is all she wants to give the commitment-phobe dom, but Ryker has other plans. Meeting Dakota's daughter while checking up on Dakota, Ryker is not the only one totally smitten. Of course there is trouble on the horison as Skye's father unexpectedly sues for custody putting Dakota in a total emotional spin. Ryker steps up as her and Skye's rock. And he did and amazing job!
I loved Ryker and Skye's interactions and the caring way he was with both Dakota and Skye. Ryker grew as a character through his interactions with Dakota and little bit. I truely felt for him when Dakota kicked his a$$ to the curb as a less than stellar history was unfairly brought to light. We get a very satisfactory HEA, though.
Well written with good heart amid the more heated scenes in the book.

Dakota, Ryker and Litle Bit (Skye) make for a loving, heartwarming love story. It all isn't smooth and easy but they do make it work. Dakota is a single mom with daughter Skye when she finds herself in a bit of a bind and Ryker is right there to help her through. After being paired up for an evening of BDSM in their club, they both felt the attraction and wanted more. I adored how well Ryker took to Little Bit, Dakota and the family unit as a whole. Tissues are needed when the situation gets messy, but I was happy that everything worked out in the end for them with one of the best epilogues I've read in a long time. I hope everyone gets to read this uplifting love story, I needed it myself right now, so my thanks to Anya Summers.

Midnight Mystique is the second book in the Dungeon Singles Night series, but could be read as a stand alone. Dakota is paired with Master Ryker during a Singles Night and they both feel a connection neither expected. When Dakota’s world is rocked, Ryker is there to pick up the pieces and support her and her daughter. But as their connection gets stronger, will their pasts threaten to tear apart everything good blossoming between them?
Oh wow, I adored this book! The chemistry between both characters had me hooked right from the very beginning, and all of the drama that Dakota was facing in regards to her daughter had me flipping pages just as quickly! I felt like I was on the edge of my seat reading this book, and yet I didn’t want it to end. Dakota was so strong, and I loved that as much as she wanted to submit to Ryker, she felt like she had to be independent and juggle everything on her own. I really felt like I could connect to her at times, especially with the mom life situations, and loved that she did her best to protect her daughter. Ryker was perfection in a man, haha. He was big and gruff and all bad boy persona, but that’s all it was. Underneath it all, he had a heart of gold, a big mushy bear for a little girl and a sub who stole his heart. I loved him, I loved how protective he was of her, and how quickly he realized that he was just waiting for his girls to enter his life - swoon!! Their chemistry was sizzling, their connection was so strong, and I loved that their relationship started off as false, but quickly grew to so much more. Add in one cute little bit, a bunch of drama, and some steamy scenes, and you have this perfect book to sweep you off your feet!

This is a simply splendid read, thoroughly enjoyed
This is a remarkably captivating read where the characters were so very well written along with the actual plot of the story, I assure you that like myself you will find that once you begin reading this story you will not be able to put down till you reach the end and discover the end.
Dakota is in need of help and the man that is able to do this so that it makes a difference is Brady and although at times she may not enjoy it or even appreciate it he knows that he has to step if for the best and is more than man enough to take her on and keep her safe.
The time the two spend together soon shows her that Brady is so very much the man she needs in her life he is strong willed and will not stand any nonsense and the way in which he loves and cares for his daughter shows her the type of man he is and she yearns for the same.
He may be a bad boy but with every touch and spoken word she knows he is her bad boy and that her heart has already made its mind up but how will he feel about this, she will simply have to wait and see.

After his night with Dakota he realizes he needs her in his life and pursues her. He starts showing up at her house and even spending time with her daughter who adores him and calls him Bear.
Dakota is devastated when she gets served to appear in court by Skye's biological father who has never wanted anything to do with her. Ryker steps up and gets his attorney and friend to work on her case. He also agrees to act as her fake fiance. Being a single mother doesn't leave her much free time so she take full advantage of it when she can. When it comes to the random dom picks though she gets the one man she has never been with and the one man she isn't sure she wants to be Ryker. Ryker admires all that Dakota has stepped up to do in light of Sophia being down. He wonders about this woman and for the first time in an long time he wants to know more. When he finds out more though he can't help the possessive nature that overtakes him. Will these two find a HEA or was it just one fun night in the dungeon?

This is a great series and Ryker quickly became my favorite character. His interactions with Skye will warm your heart. Can’t wait to read the next book in the series!

This is a great series and Ryker quickly became my favorite character. His interactions with Skye will warm your heart. Can’t wait to read the next book in the series!

Ryker and Dakota's story has all the feels. They had known one another for years, but never really made a connection until Singles Night. Their chemistry and connection was explosive. I liked both characters.
Then Ryker did some things that took his likability, hotness, and desirability to a whole different level. The way he loved, took care of, and interacted with Dakota's daughter Skye was first. Next was the way he cared for and supported Dakota's emotional and physical needs, even bring her Dom, it was overwhelmingly sweet. Last, it was the way he stood staunchly by Dakota's side and was there for her through the ordeal with her ex.
For me, it was Skye that was the star of this story. With Dakota being a single more, and her first and foremost thought was to protect her baby, that was where much of the emotion occurred. That being said, I could absolutely understand her reaction to Ryker, even if it was not the best way to handle the situation.
I also liked that there were a few surprises in this book that were completely satisfying. Heartfelt, romantic, sweet, and steamy with epilogue and an HEA.

Dakota and Ryker are matched up when she draws his name on singles night at The Eros Pit, the exclusive lifestyle club in Denver. At first, she is worried. He's the bad boy of the club, but she goes through with it. They end up spending the night together, and both of them feel electricity like they have never felt before. Days later, she is embroiled in a custody battle for her 2 1/2 year old daughter, and Ryker steps up to the plate to be her fake fiance. Before long, her feelings are becoming real. As he becomes more and more involved in her and her daughter's life, it will be hard to let him go.
This is an incredible novel. Riker is not what anyone thought he was, and he falls so deeply in love with Dakota and her daughter. All three characters are so well written, and so relatable. While part of a series, it can easily be read as a standalone. Fair warning, though. You will want to read the entire series. It is that good.

I loved this book. It grabbed me from the beginning. Dakota, executive assistant to Gabe who owns the lifestyle club, Eternal Eros, is helping her friend with Eros' monthly fantasy themed bdsm parties. Each sub that signs up receives a marker that tells them which dom they will be playing with that night. Dakota picks last since she is running the party. When Ryker's name is the last one chosen, Dakota knows she is in trouble. She is a bit apprehensive about Ryker, but needs this time tonight for herself. What Ryker and Dakota both experience this night leaves them speechless. Ryker finds he cannot get Dakota out of his mind and the same goes for Dakota....and her toddler daughter, who takes an immediate shine to Ryker. When a threat against Dakota and her daughter escalates, Ryker is there. Her daughter sees who Ryker is...but will Dakota really see the type of man he is...

This is a great addition to the Dungeon Singles Night series and it focuses on Dakota and Ryker relationship. What starts out with Ryker being drawn by Dakota as her Dom for the night turns into much more. The impact Dakota has on him is startling and he wants more. There is another major player in this story and that is Skye, Dakota’s young daughter. The interaction between Ryker and Skye is so well written and entertaining that it adds a lot of humor to the story. Skye’s father starts causing trouble and stress for Dakota. This is an excellent story that is so well written that you can easily picture what is happening in your mind. I loved the story and the strong characters that are featured in this book. This is definitely a story worth reading.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is the second book in the Dungeon Singles Night series and is about Dakota and Ryker. They match up at the club one night and things just fall into place. She is a hard working mother who had done it on her own. He is a man who has stayed away from relationships but finds Dakota changes that. He and her little girl also connect really well. Dakota finds herself with custody problems and Ryker tries to help. Things get in the way of their happiness and almost cost everything. I liked both of these characters. They were two people who were surprised at the feelings they brought out in each other. The story had a range of emotions and a great ending

Midnight Mystique is another 5 star read in the Dungeon Singles Night series. I was really drawn to the cover of the book and the saying you can't judge a book by its cover is totally wrong in this case. The main male character in the story, Ryker, is a dead ringer for the cover model! But the way Anya has written his character as the bad boy of club Eternal Eros in previous books is a total contrast to his character after Dakota Reed and her daughter Skye enter his life.
The trials and tribulations for Dakota are matched by the real and raw emotions shared between a single mother and a perceived player in this heart wrenching story! An erotic romance not to be missed!

I am a huge fan of Anya Summers and I am a huge fan of the Dungeon Singles series. We met both Ryker and Dakota in book 1 Midnight Masquerade. Ryker is the bad boy Dom of Eternal Eros and someone Dakota never expected to spend a night of intense pleasure with. Ryker never thought he would meet a forever sub, but he has great chemistry and the attraction between is something neither expected. When Ryker meets Skylar, Dakota's daughter, his protective nature is in full blown mode. I loved the growth in their relationship, his dominance, her submission, and the steam was pretty hot. The story was well paced and grabbed you from start to finish. A great addition to the series.

Dakota is a hard-working single mother of cute little Sky. She works at Club Eros working in the office etc. Ryker is a gorgeous male specimen who is a member of the club. On the night where singles choose a token out of a barrel with the name of the dom they will be with for the night, the last token is for Dakota. And the dom she ends up with is Ryker, the one she didn't want to choose. But things sure change after their night together. He doesn't want commitment at all, but he wants Dakota. And when he meets little Sky, he falls badly for the little cutie. Then out of the blue Dakota receives a court notice. What on earth does it say to blow her mind? Will Ryker be there to help her out? A terrific story and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

This was such a lovely story. I liked Ryker in Gabe and Sophia’s story, Midnight Masquerade and he proved his worth six times over in Midnight Mystique. Skylar will just steal your heart and the way she interacts with Ryker will make you melt. Her biological father is a snake and we spend most of the book wondering at his motive and when Asher discloses it what a doozy. Poor Ryker is undeservedly raked over the coals by everyone and yet, once again, he comes through for Dakota and little bit. There are some really hot scenes that will have you needing a cold shower but Ryker and Dakota are made for each other. The ending had me in tears it was so beautiful.

Wow, this book totally rocks, i so loved reading Dakota and Rykers story.

Ryker however cannot get enough of Dakota, he wants more, and when he mets Dakotas daughter he really is hooked. However her ex, the one who didnt want anyithing to do with her daughter has now made an appearance. He will do anything to try and get his daughter back and that includes bringing Ryker into his line of fire.
This book certainly was exciting to say the least, and im certainly looking forward to the next in the series.

I would have to give this book 5 stars for the cover hottie alone. That being said, I think it fits my idea of what the main character, Ryker, looks like. He is a rough, motorcycle riding bad boy with his own carpentry business and doesn't do commitments. Or is he? Dakota is a single mom that is like women everywhere trying to fit 36 hours of chores into a single day. When her daughter's sperm donor finally shows up looking for custody, fierce Dakota will do anything to protect her child. I loved the characters, the story keeps your interest and as with any Summers book, the heat is scorching.

This story just worked for me. There are some aspects of the legalities within the book that I found highly questionable based on my understanding of the system, but the relationship and connections between Ryker, Dakota, and Skye are rock solid. I loved seeing the way Dakota’s friends, family, and co-workers immediately pitched in to help with the situation. And I giggled in delight for way longer than was healthy when I discovered the cross-over with the Silver Springs Ranch series. The more we get to know about the Ryan men and the people closest to them, the more I want to know.

Right from the start I loved this story! Ryker and Dakota are the most unexpected and yet brilliant couple I've come across in a long time and their chemistry burned bright. The premise wasn't entirely all that original but the way that it was developed and written really brought through the strength of the story. This was a well written story that tugged on my emotions. The idea of big bad Ryker having a tea party with a 3 year old just turned me into goo. Without giving away any plot spoilers, I did feel that the resolution of the drama was a bit weak, but not enough to bring down my 5* rating.

Having Ryker step in to be her fake fiance is exactly what she needed for her and her daughter, but her would came crashing down when a dmming secret from a Ryker's pass was reviled. Cutting him from her life was the only thing she thought would fix her problem. Was she right? what did Ryker do?
I absolutely love what happens next. Dakota's ex definitely will see what is ment by, ( if you live in a glass house, don't through stone). A great ending to a beautifully written story. ❤
