Hach, Childhood.
My oldest brother bought this in 1988 at the Büdchen/Kiosk, at the end of our street and I was mesmerised by the Cover.
I did read it as a child once, and it was time to read this again.
This one was what you would call a Penny Dreadful and what we Germans call a Groschenroman.
Phil Garner and his buddy Ernie Balsam are on a boat, in the Aegaen Sea, maybe south of İzmir? Who knows... ;)
Phil wants to find a certain cave in a submarine canyon. He wants to find his Goddess. And after digging in the sands under water it seems as if Phil is much closer to his Goal than he thought.
Fast forward to a year later and it's Autumn.
There's a new Star in London.
Celeste …the whole World loves her and she's about to make it big!
John Sinclair get's a visit, by no one else than Ernie Balsam.
And Ernie is about to take Sinclair on a ride, to get to the blue Giantess...
