I highly recommend this book! I could not put this book down once I had started it. It was so good. I absolutely love, love, love our leading man Milton. And Jane, oh my goodness, my heart went out to her.

This was a new to me author. I will definitely be reading more of her books.

***some minor editing issues, but only a few and nothing that detracts from the story***

⚖️⚖️ONE GRIPPING THRILL RIDE⚖️⚖️
Simmering saddles! Lydia unleashes this incredibly thrilling, wild west showdown with such aplomb, serving up some small town justice, strong belief and relentless drive, breaking out the big guns, heavy artillery and ammo aplenty, holding you prisoner from start to finish, skyrocketing this jewel to staggering heights. Navigating a devious scheme full of riveting drama, gripping intrigue, hidden agenda, electrifying suspense and intense situations, putting our characters through their paces, fusing this gem together perfectly. Serendipity and difficulty descend in a flurry of clever observations and cunning strategy, broken perimeters and crushed barriers solidify as limitations are amplified and enforced, observing the separate struggles and electrifying triumphs, noting the deadly twists and wicked turns, bursting this baby to life brilliantly. The characters, banter, dialogue, interactions and charged atmosphere along with relatable qualities and individual traits, blend and flow adding depth and diversity, transforming into outstanding personalities. The scenes are abundantly descriptive with colorful details that blend and flow, creating one vivid backdrop that's so rich and lively it feels as though you were transported to ground zero with them. Fantastic job Lydia, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.

Great Read

A very good story of Milton the distant rancher and a young lady who had been promised to an evil man by her greedy and selfish stepfather. When Jane finds out about the promise her father had made to marry an older & rich man, she answered a letter in the matrimonial paper and slipped away to marry the rancher. The evil man follows her & causes havoc in the small town, but love and friendship finds the evil man, Brandon guilty of crimes & he goes to jail. A must read to get more of the juicy parts.

This is a very good story about a young woman that does not want to marry the old man picked by her father so she became a mail order bride and despite the problems they fell in love .The characters are very determined and emotional at times and the extended epilogue shows just how much happy they are

A Sweet Mail Order Bride for the Distant Rancher

Milton was a young rancher who had placed a and for a mail order bride. After receiving three letters he asked his best friend Matthew to tell him which one he should write too. Matthew picked Jane Bennet and said she is the one for you never looking at the other two letters. This was a very well written book and very intriguing to read and not stop till done. This is my review and mine alone. Norma Gorrill

A Story of the Cost of Greed.

Jane's stepfather made a deal with a ruthless man, Dorien, that he would get a lucrative job if he made sure Jane married Dorien. When Jane found out about it she ran away and married Milton. When Do rien learned where Jane was he followed. He made a lot of trouble for Jane and her whole family because of his greed and need to always get his own way. This was a great story with strong characters and heart wrenching plots. I highly recommend it.

I enjoyed reading this book! Because her father was going to give her in marriage to an old man, she went to New Mexico to be a mail-order bride! Her husband was a rancher and didn't really have time for her. I recommend this book to anyone who likes romance!

Western historical romance

Overall I enjoyed your story. Not so fond of drama and evil. Happy to see the family overcome the nastiness. Still hate that the extended epilogues are not a part of the original book. They add so much to the story.

A young woman running from something not pleasant that would never be her choice. Afraid of what she was running to. But anything would be better than what she ran from!
