A system that humans shouldn't have access to. Abilities no one dreamed possible.

After an accident which should have killed her, Ella's life is torn asunder. She's on the wrong side of the galaxy when she's told her husband is a liar, a cheater. A murderer. Unwilling to believe what she's being fed, she uses her new, unfathomable abilities to break free of her "saviors" to make her way across the stars. Toward Earth. Home. Her family. And the truth.

After several months in a Coma, the MCs wife is an an enemy facility where after she gets healthy enough, learns to cleans her body and use the bright.
Insert the usual match up two different species and have them breed. The day after she finds out that she is pregnant with another prisoner (but one who works there) they manage to escape. On the way out the other prisoners sister happens to be entering the facility as a prisoner.
After making their escape good, they end up finding their way to a hospital where the previous group stopped on there original journey of escape. Conveniently in an entire universe they run into someone who knows her husband.
But instead of meeting up with the most powerful Bright Lord, they decide hey lets go with the B team for a rescue.
As usual for this kind of plan we need to be recaptured to insure the safety of his sister. Who is now also pregnant, by one of the doctors who helped her escape earlier.
The escape manages to work out, the MC catches up with them just in time to rip out the information from the mad doctors mind and then he is dead.
As for his wife, now head over heals in love with the other alien. Its all good. I got someone too from my previous time as a Bright Lord.

This was a much-needed change. We got a different perfective and new character to watch for this journey. There was even an explanation of The Bright. So magic, I was right. There's a little more than that, but I was basically right. This book really entertained me. The action was fun, and the characters were enjoyable.
However, the problem I had was still the pacing. Fast at points, then really slow in others. Also, a lot of characters who were strangers were flat-out helpful. For no reason at that too. There was only one person who was not helpful but still. Many times it seemed that people just came by to help just because they could. It's not really a bad thing, just noticeable. Glad the love thing wasn't too complex. It really could have been worse.
This is the best book in The Bright series. Hopefully, it keeps getting better from here on out.

This book was a bit of a departure from the other books. It follows the earth wife and is about her love affair with an alien. The plot doesn’t progress much but we do get a different perspective of events in this “world.” So essentially it is a sci-fi romance novel.

This wasn't the story that I expected... What I anticipated was Tytan, Juteng, and their cohorts to go rushing off to finish a war that NEEDS to be ended. Alex Knowles knew better than that, and gave me a book that I didn't even know I needed! Not only did I Absolutely need the book but it was also a tale that Tytan needed to be told! A closing of sorts, of his previous life on earth, thus making the overall story arc even better! Not only did it give Tytan new information, vital to his war efforts, it delivered the information from a very unexpected source... Tytan's human wife, Ella!
This action-packed story is artfully narrated by Stephanie Nemeth Parker (another unexpected, and quite pleasant surprise)! So be sure to grab the audio version of The Bright-Revelation, and enjoy!

I enjoyed listening to this side of the story. It was a very interesting and intriguing story of Ella and what happened to her. It also gave a glimpse of the evil force in the works.

Stephanie Nemeth Parker did fantastic here. She gave a solid performance.
