What happens when the least spiritual person on the planet gets hired to make a movie about spirituality? You're about to find out.
Killing Buddha is a delightfully irreverent, LOL read. Sara Wells and her crew are exactly what we need to remind us that life is a journey best enjoyed with authenticity, vulnerability and laughter. I couldn't stop laughing even as I soaked up the wisdom this hilarious tale has to tell. Enjoy this total page turner.

When life is in chaos we are forced to change, a lesson successful-but-not-the-way-she-wants-to-be film producer Sara Wells reluctantly learns when her seemingly perfect life comes crashing down.
Desperate for work and a new life, she takes on a documentary project about spirituality and the New Thought movement.
Will Killing Buddha mark her triumphant return to the riches she thinks her life once contained? Or will
she and her mismatched crew of seekers, believers and cynics find that, in the end, it's not what you have and what you believe in, but who you ultimately
become that counts?
Funny and light-hearted, Killing Buddha is a thought-provoking, mostly fictional tale based on the experiences of Betsy
Chasse, award-winning filmmaker of the international hit indie film What the Bleep Do We KnowI? which ignited the New Thought industry for the new millennium. The book explores the world of New Age / New Thought spirituality and personal growth, exposing both the ridiculousness and the sublimity of the spiritual journey in an authentic and humorous way.
Betsy Chasse is an award-winning filmmaker, best known for her role as co-writer, director and producer of What The Bleep Do We Know?!. The
best-selling author of Tipping Sacred Cows, she has produced over 30 feature films and documentaries. (And yes, some of those would
be considered porn...) She is a mom to two spirited and opinionated teenagers, still loves wine, but has decided to leave the Tequila on the top

👉"📚 Diving into 'Killing Buddha' by Betsy Chasse was an enchanting journey that left me thoroughly entertained and enlightened! 😍✨ Chasse weaves a captivating narrative, introducing us to Sara Wells, a film producer navigating the tumultuous waves of life and spirituality. 💫
👉The book's strength lies in its perfect blend of humor and profound wisdom. Chasse's storytelling prowess brings authenticity to Sara's character, making her loveable, relatable, and beautifully imperfect. 🌈 The narrative takes us behind the scenes of a documentary project on spirituality, offering a unique and often hilarious perspective on the New Age movement.
👉What sets 'Killing Buddha' apart is its ability to simultaneously tickle your funny bone and provoke deep contemplation. The exploration of self-awareness is laced with witty humor, making it a page-turner that I couldn't put down. 📖🎭 Chasse's sharp observations cut through the phony façade of love and light in the personal growth world, while Sara's character remains authentic, snarky, and utterly real. The journey, filled with misadventures and soul-searching, resonates with seekers and cynics alike. 🚀🤔
👉Moreover, the book offers a shockingly honest examination of the New Age movement, revealing its highs, lows, and unexpected turns. It's not just a story; it's a mirror reflecting the quirks and vulnerabilities of the spiritual journey we all embark upon.
👉In a world where laughter is often the best medicine, 'Killing Buddha' delivers in abundance. 😂🌟 I didn't want this delightful adventure to end, and I'm left with a renewed appreciation for the humorous side of spirituality. Bravo, Betsy Chasse! 🙌💖
I’ve followed Betsy’s work since What The Bleep do We Know (awesome film, by the way), so I guess I can say I’m a fan of her work. That said, my opinion might be biased when I say that this book is insightful, funny and authentic. Easy read with relatable characters. I liked honesty of it. Great read!
This book is funny, insightful and an easy summer read. Betsy’s writing style makes you feel like you are along for the ride on a journey into the world of characters on their path to enlightenment.
With raw authenticity this book finds meaning in the chaos, with humor and a fresh style this book plays like a movie in your head. Profoundly respectful in it’s disrespect of life’s journey!
