Such a great book
I have been waiting for Scars story for so long and it was worth the wait. I was sucked in from the page. This was so well written, the characters were hilarious, and Exa and Scar had such great chemistry. This story had twists and turns that you never saw coming. And I was laughing out loud when Exa would talk to herself. I'm also glad the fallout between Garrett and Scar was finally explained and resolved. There are so many great scenes, but one of my favorites is when Oni finally finds out why Scar left. I loved seeing the Killer crew again and meeting the Timeless crew. I recommend this book.

Appearances Mean Everything
Scar is a man who has been bent but he didn't break. He did however lose family blood & chosen. When Exa walks into his life like a breath of fresh air he isn't ready. Exa being a Timeless asset isn't ready for Scar either. In Scar she sees a sexy dangerous man. Dangerous mainly because he makes her feel & in her world feelings can get you killed. The adventure they embark upon neither realizes will be life altering & affirming. Each is the piece the other was missing. It was good to read of the rest of the crew Garretts crazy self & his lady love Oni. I'm excited to see what next book holds for Nik & his attraction to Letisha. Between the budding romance of Scar & Exa plus the killing of enemies & wrong doers I couldn't put this book down. Bring on the continuing saga of these strong men & their even stronger women.

I knew it!
I knew when I read Garrett’s book and we were introduced to Scar that I was going to love him. Waited so patiently (not) for his story..lol. And it was sooooooooo worth it! Scar and Exa are PERFECT for each other! I think this was the best book in the series so far. It sure is my favorite 😍.

I need me a Scar. This book was totally worth the wait. It hit all my emo buttons; I laughed, cried, wished I had a man with a mouth full of midgets (LMAO), got angry and felt there vindication that Scar was due.

Enjoyable
I liked both Scar and Exa. However, although the book was long, they were a lot of missing information. First things first how old are they? How exactly did Scar and the others meet? What exactly happened to Exa
at the judge’s house. What does the Timeless training consist of? Where are they going to live and teach now? The ending felt rushed with a lot of loose ends. The biggest one being how they’re going to deal with the Judge.

Team Scar for Life
This story was everything for me. I absolutely LOVED IT!! The entire series is amazing. I thought this story was so well written. The pace and flow of the story were spot on. Although this was a Romantic suspense the jokes had me cracking up. Exa is a bada$$ with a heart of gold and Scar can do no wrong for me. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for an action packed romance suspense with an emphasis on strong family bonds and “chuckle deep down in your belly” laughs. This was my first time reading anything by this author and I am officially hooked. I can’t give this enough stars or hearts. 🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️💕.

Just as good
I would say nothing topped book 2 in this series, but this one was right there. I love X and her crew and Scar, oh my heart broke for him but, it repaired when he found his heart. Now how you gone do this to Nik and then make me wait. It’s just not right!

When x appeared in the last book I had a feeling she’d be Scar’s love interest
Timmy’s mom ain’t shit. I can see Scar; and then scar and Exa taking care of him
I hate that scar is ultra jealous. Don’t smile at other men, other men can’t hold things for you. Other men can’t ride in the elevator with you. I don’t find that to be an attractive trait
So scar an Exa loved ones are connected through the web and no one knows. Cool.

Nope. Im not buying that Garrett was intentionally pushing Scar away for his own good and Nik knew. I’m glad he admitted he was acting like a bitch baby but I still feel like it wasn’t part of some greater plan. There needs to be another way to redeem Garrett in my eyes. His tears are not it….
Oh my, I loved this story so much. It was actioned packed, had suspense, comedy and drama. And of course I loved the romance developing between Scar and Exa. I love how both their families are merging. A few things were a little over the top but not enough for me to over look it.
There wasn’t closure for me regarding judge Bailey. And I’m not quite sure what the deal was with Pluto. Was he and the boss the same? Was he Zian Fang? Maybe one day when I reread I’ll get a new interpretation that answers that question.
The ending let me know there’s more to come. My other fave of the killer crew will get his story. Can’t wait for Nik and Letisha.

Exa and Scar
Scar had experienced so much loss.
He is now is a differwnt state trying to live life on his terms. However, while soing this he kinda makes himself the protector of a little boy, Timmy, whose mom is a lady of the night and continuing to work jobs that doesnt follow normal societal protocols.
While out one night he meets Exa. Exa is a female that is a part of an all female secret society that rescues vulnerable people from horrible situations. There were about to entertain each other, but Exa's teammate blocked it and dont see each other for some time.
Scar accepts a job and learns that Exa is the peraon of interest in this new job. However, they criss paths again when they both try to rescue Timmy.
While the story of their relationship unfolds, betrayals are revealed, some to harm and others to ptotect.

Hilariously funny and action packed
Same as other reviewers, I have waited a long time for this book! Checking regularly...waiting patiently. It’s been so long that I forgot how laugh out loud funny the dialogue from this cast of characters is. I was reading this book on a long car ride and couldn’t hold in my laughter at various scenes - my favorite - the fair and shooting game between Scar and Exa! I will say no more...everyone should read it on their own and have a nice laugh. The book was filled with action scenes, tear jerker moments from Scar’s past and his vulnerability, hot love scenes and humor. This book had it all! It was worth the wait. I just hate that it ended so quickly. Now I am left dreading that there might be another long wait for Nik’s story and the continuation of Scar/Exa....please don’t let the next book take too long to come!!!!

Great book
Omg you need to be beaten for this book. I never laughed so hard, cried so much and was madder then fish grease all while reading Scar. I don't see how anyone can put up with Nik because he can turn something serious into a great joke. It was so great to see Scar stepping out on his own and giving love a try. Exa was great I love how she let it all hang out there and how she let Scar into her life. I was so pissed at Snake because she just didn't see what was going on with her life. The dark duo was a breath of fresh air and I just loved Arsun. I was laughing when Oni let Garrett have it because his crazy was getting out of hand. Scar put it best families fight and move apart but you never stop being family. I can't wait to the next book comes out because Nik is going to be a great book.

What the FCK. I set myself up for failure with this series. It went from hot damn to OMG sleep can freaking wait until I'm done. It gets better and better Annnnnnnndddd I'm loving it. EXA AND SCAR is the THE SHI*. I love the slow build. The overall flow of the storyline. The ending had me like 😱😱😱😰😨😓😖😣😫😵😵💫 seriously I even cried 😂. If I had a split personality I would love it to be EXA 😈 now....now...the way things wrapped up....I almost fell out my bed! I plan on purchasing this series to make sure I have it on my rotation. ALLEN you just found a fan for life after reading Scar's obsession.
Idk if it's greedy of me to say this but I wish all the guys would have the opportunity for their story to be told. Even with Novak and Miriam❤️❤️❤️❤️

Action Packed High Octane Sizzling IR Romance
Whew!!!! What a rush 😆. Scars Obsession is by far the darkest& steamiest of the 4 📚in the series, as both the main characters are assassins! I knew Scar's story was gonna be lit 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 , but M'Renee Allen far exceeded my expectations🙌! Many pages of this 📖 had me on the edge of my seat with the building suspense & at other times I was laughing so hard at the banter between the 💯 Alpha savage Scar & his Chocolate sweetheart Exa. It was great to catch up with Dean & Rain , and Garrett & Oni. I really hope the author continues this series to feature the other Russian crew members, as well as, the female assassins of the Timeless Agency💃

Loved IT!!!!!!!
I've only read a few of this authors book including this series. I rarely give 5 stars EVER...even for my favs (and M'Renee is new to me). This book was good, start to finish! That short book prior could have been a part of this or the first book, but I get it. Loooved Scar and Exactly story unfolding and how their journey played out. It was a good plot, wasnt the unrealistic rush that didn't make sense for the characters. This was a very long book that was worth it to me. Plot twists and all...even the rationale behind why they do what they do. Loved to see that the need for therapy was being brought in. All the bells and whistles a critic like me loves...and I aint easy. Great job M' Renee Allen!!!!

Worth the wait!
I had honestly given up on this book to ever be released. It was up for pre-order a few years ago and I bought it and it was never released. This book was so good so maybe the wait was worth it. Lol Garrett and Oni are still my favorite, but Scar and Exa are awesome also. I love that Scar got his HEA. There are so many laugh out loud moments in this book. It's really a great book. The author did a fantastic job. The only small critique I have is that Scar and Exa didn't meet until almost the 50% mark in the book. I hope we won't have to wait YEARS for Nik's story. I'm already on the edge of my seat. Lol

Another must read
Loved all the series so far. The writing had me glued to the page desperate to get to the end but not wanting it to finish too soon. Book 2 and 4 are my favourite but I loved them all. I loved all the characters and the dialogue had me LOL at times. Roll on book 5. I hope it’s not too long before it’s released because you forget what’s happened and you then have to go back to re-read and I’ve already done that twice. My only other criticism is that the woman don’t all have to be BBW, don’t know why they just can’t be BW! Eva was in the field so ideally should have been ripped but I still loved the series and this book especially

As always, a fun action packed read
I love it when the heroine is just as badass if not not more badass than the hero. I love that there is a band of badass women administering Justice on behalf of karma. Exa is an awesome character and I love her attitude, charm, and vulnerability. I like Scar, he's cool and all but not my favorite assassin. I'm glad he got his revenge because I seriously think he has too good of a heart for all the murder murder kill kill. Here's hoping he and Exa get to settle down soon because they are both far too kind to keep leading such violent lives.

Chocolate loves when her savage goes, deep, deeper and more deep. Scar is happy to oblige. That’s if he doesn’t kill the blond Chocolate was smiling with at the fair, or calling the obnoxious guy in the pickup truck built, and keeps calling Sal Sweet Sal. Jealous is not the word, deadly serious is more like it. Scar was hypnotized when he asked her for her cherry at the bar. He was captivated when she was dancing for him and Chocolate told him to keep his eyes on her and only her. Scar was obsessed when Chocolate was ready to leave with him NOW; when he realized she wanted to be kidnapped by him and only him he lost his mind!!!

M'Renee has outdone herself this time! After a lifetime of hurt, abandonment, and sorrow, Scar finally gets some much deserved love. But of course, an old enemy rears his ugly head to snatch everything away from him. Read this well-written story as the author takes us through Scar's struggles and breakthroughs. The chemistry between Scar and Exa was through the roof. We also get updates on Garrett and the rest of the crew. I definitely recommend this book. Well done.

The chemistry between Scar and Exa was through the roof. We also get updates on Garrett and the rest of the crew. I definitely recommend this book. Well done.

This was so good I don’t mind the cliffhanger.
This story of Scar and Exa is oh so good. It was long and covered Garret and Oni as well some of the other characters but it was necessary to weave the entire story (or kind of saga) together. The characters are so 3 dimensional and well fleshed out that I actually care for them; and the humor is really great that I laughed out loud many times. I can’t wait to read the next installment of this complicated but loving family. Brava again, Ms. Allen! A+++

Aargghh! Scar's obsession is 🔥
Ms Allen keeps us all on the edge of our seats as usual.
Waited so long for this book to come out that I thought I would be able to relax a bit after this release... Boi was I wrong... Just as we think the Killer Crew would catch a break something happens to have readers jonesing for the NEXT book in the series.

I love Scar
From the very first introduction to Scar I adored him. He's that wounded hero who breaks your heart at moments, but is so sweet and loyal. Exa was the perfect woman for him and I hope we find out what plans they have for the Judge. Having now read Dean's Addiction,, Garrett's Temptation, and The Fallout, I am so ready Nik and Letisha's story. Even though Scar is my favorite all of these men are hilarious and charming.

Yay.....Team Scar for REAL
I TOTALLY agree with author M'Renee.... Team Scar For Life!!! I am already hype for more of Exa aka Chocolate and Scar aka her Beast. I loved the Female Assassin's and am looking forward to knowing more about them too. Now that we know WHY Garrett acted the way he did causing Scar to leave I am still a little mad at him. It will remain to be seen in the next book if I he gets back into my good graces.

Soooo Amazing...
I was enraptured at every page I turned, and when I thought I knew what was next and how it was going to end surprisingly happy I was wrong it went in another direction with more intensity and mayhem making the suspense heighten and the plot thicken... What a ride, what an adventure boys and girls... Waiting on the next installment holding my breath I love it bring it👏👍😆😀😃😁😄😅😂😉😏😊😎😍😘💓💗💞💘🙋💃🏾😈
