Mercy Ravens MC #3

Lips on My World

Rate this book
He thinks he can take her from me, but he’s wrong. He already stole one family from me, and I refuse to let him take another. She’s mine and I protect what’s mine.

Maceo “Atlas” Tabares, president of the Mercy Ravens MC and alpha extraordinaire, has finally married the pixie-like woman who shares the other half of his soul. As their love grows, so does Maceo’s need to protect her. Josephine wears the title First Lady proudly, yet understands this new life comes with a warning label.

With a new home, thriving businesses, and everyone they love surrounding them, their future looks bright as they begin the next chapter in their lives. But the retired Navy SEAL has made several enemies working as a mercenary, and one man he can’t shake.

Esteban Moreno, Colombian drug lord, has been looming over Maceo for years like a dark shadow, waiting for the opportune moment to approach him. A buried secret keeps him coming back. Maceo’s military experience is ideal for running his drug-trafficking empire, and Josephine is the incentive Esteban needs to bring Maceo to heel.

Heads will roll before Maceo bends a knee to his greatest enemy. With his padre’s journal, the devotion of his crew, and help from an unlikely source, Maceo pieces together the clues to hunt down the man who threatens to take everything he holds dear in this world.

Can Maceo track down Esteban before the drug lord can put his plan into action? With Josephine in a fragile state, will she be able to protect herself and the most precious gift Maceo has given her? Will this ride-or-die alpha couple survive their greatest challenge and finally have the happily ever after they deserve?

Lips On My World is the third book in the Mercy Ravens MC Series. A swoon-worthy, steamy, instalove, protective biker romance.

Putting this one on hold for now unfortunately. I just can’t with how much time the couple spends with other people rather than together. Also I saw in many reviews that people found the first ultrasound scene funny, but I saw nothing humorous about it. The first ultrasound for a couple is such a special moment, so why was Punk there? And why did Punk announce Maceo and Jo’s pregnancy to everyone? Punk annoyed the hell out of me, so honestly he’s another reason I’m going to have to put this book down for now.

Basically tho, this couple never spends any time together, it’s basically Punk and Jo together all the time, the author should’ve just made them end up together at this point with how much time they spend together.

The finale book in this 3 book series and it a dosey!!!

Our babies are having babies!!!! After their wedding the couple is trying to relax on their honeymoon but now more past drama is coming and this time it's from Maceo past the dark cloud he's been trying to catch. And now that he and Jo are going to be parents he is running himself to the ground trying to find the guy. I love how the author is letting these MC biker men go to therapy I hardly see that in MC for men of the club with all the stuff they go though.

And its getting hard for them dealing with this threat and making sure Jo is safe and health due the babies.. Lots of drama, few laughs and spicy times.. and lil heartbreaking... out Boy Mac was put through the ringer.. when he uncovers more of the man he is hunting..

Only problem I had was Marco didnt get to be at the birth of his babies.. that was sad for me.. I do hope he gets a chance when they have more babies.. ;)

Low angst, no cheating, secondary character, drama, Sexy times, no virgins

Exciting conclusion to the trilogy

Story: ⭐⭐⭐⭐1\2
Trope: heroine in peril
Angst: 😱😱1\2
Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥🔥

What a roller coaster ride! Jo and Maceo finally get their long sought HEA. Really love the storytelling and world building MJ did. Well written with both emotional and laugh out loud moments. I did feel like the beginning dragged a bit, but I was so invested already that I pushed through. The last third was delivered at warp speed with tons of action, twists, and turns. Will definitely be reading the other two books despite getting part of their story in the Lips books.

What a wonderful conclusion!

(But don't you worry, more Raven Mercy stories are coming our way).

Josephine and Maceo's story was simply beautiful. They went through so much and they definitely earned their happiness.
Their love and devotion were inspiring. They had such profound respect for each other, they were truly equal partners in their relationship.

This book was intense in romance, steam, action and suspense. I was on edge for the majority of the story, devouring the pages with the hunger only a reader in love can have.
This book was the definition of unputdownable.

Josephine and Maceo warmed my heart with their adoration for each other and their family (the already existing one and the one they were creating).
And just like in the previous books, Maceo's brothers were incredible. To be honest, I'm struggling to find a better word, because "incredible" doesn't do them justice.
They were loyal on every front, they were funny and honest, they loved shamelessly and they protected their loved ones with everything they had.

I'm deeply in love with this series.

I was so happy when I saw this book was finally available to read. This is the third book in the series that tells Maceo and Josephine’s romance, and it connects all the books together. Some spoilers: This story picked up during the honeymoon scene. Maceo learns that Esteban had been watching them on their wedding day and freaks out because he is too far from home to help his crew. Maceo struggles with his anger issues related to his past and decides to finally address the issue by attending counseling. Josephine does end up pregnant, which really becomes a security issue when dealing with Esteban. She also has some complications related to the pregnancy that become more problematic throughout the book. Maceo and his crew dive deep into hunting Esteban, and Maceo discovers things about his pass that tie them together through a journal his father kept. The Mercy Ravens get some unexpected help from an unlikely source related to the Bianchi mob (I think this may open up into another series in the future, just a guess). And Maceo is forced to make a choice to save his wife and crew from Esteban, but could put him in danger instead. There was a lot of angst and backstory with this book, but the author was still able to add the humor she has done with her last two books. There also is a lot of character set up for future books. This book had me burning the midnight oil. I just couldn’t put it down. There is still this heavy emphasis on MC, but there was a lot more military type of action involved with this book, which makes sense since the crew work as mercenaries. The spicy scenes were delicious and plentiful; especially one involving a Santa hat. There were several tender moments as well, which I really appreciated. Loved this book. Love this series. And I need to know what happens next.

Holy moly, this book was a rollercoaster of angst, action, family and love! M.J. puts her readers through a gamut of emotions and when Lips on My World ends, you’re going to need to sit there and have a Zen moment to just appreciate it all.

Maceo and Jo began this book on their honeymoon, but of course evil never rests and Esteban was always working behind the scenes to try and get Maceo under his thumb. But for as much as I hated Esteban and his machinations, there were still so many scenes in this book that made me hoot with laughter (thank you Chase, Punk, and the 🦝) and tear up with sentiment (revolving around the journal from Maceo’s Dad, and also the strength of love and devotion Jo and Maceo have for one another even in dire situations).

I also appreciated seeing Maceo dig deep to be a better man. He knew he had to exorcise some demons not only for himself, but for Jo, those babIES he was so certain he put in Jo’s belly (🤣) and for his men in the Mercy Ravens.

And let’s not forget all the schmexy times that still abound in this book. 🔥** fanning myself **🔥 M.J. hasn’t missed a beat in book 3. Buy this book (well, ALL the books in this series) because there’s no way when you’re done reading you aren’t appreciative of the phenomenal journey you just took with Maceo, Jo and the Mercy Ravens!!

This book absolutely gutted me. The whole second half had my heart breaking with every page. I honestly thought the worse the entire time. Things looked bleak and my heart was preparing for a hurt I was sure too see. Absolutely gut wrenching.

I am not going to go in to this review saying much about what happens, because man, does so much happen. Great things, hilarious hijinks, tortured heartbreak. This book was a fast paced, well told, and well written story of awesomeness. I love every one of these beautiful characters as if they were real life, breathing people. Family members.

I went in thinking this was the last book of the series. But I was delighted to see there will be more books focusing on the other brothers of the Mercy Raven’s MC. I am freaking overjoyed to know we get more amazing stories from this amazing author.

I love when I find a new books by new to me authors and it all just clicks. Instant love!! These first 3 books consumed my life the last several days and I am sure my devotion for this series will stay just as strong through the others that follow. 5 Stars!!

Of the 3 books in the series, this was definitely my favorite. It had a greater percentage of suspense than romance but that made the sweet ending that much better, wrapped up in a nice bow.

I was concerned with how the hero and heroine's storyline was going to be handled (trying not to give away spoilers) but the suspense kept me engaged. When books feature a married couple, it can get boring and repetitive now but this wasn't the case.

I love, love, love all the side characters and pets. By far the best aspect of this series, which I was concerned about when reading about a motorcycle club/vigilantes.

Ready for their stories to continue and hopefully more appearances by Maceo and Josephine and their family in the following years.

I loved this book and the end of the books in this series focusing on Maceo and Jo. I laughed so much at certain scenes and then cried a ton. A lot of this felt personal to me due to my own experiences. I won’t say more since that would give too much away. The only negative thing that I can say is that j found some aspects of the book a tad too repetitive and that parts needed to be shortened. However, that bonus Christmas scene is hilarious and should have been kept! It says a lot about an author and her books that I love all of the secondary characters as much as the main couple. I’m eagerly awaiting h release of book four so we get Gauge and Opal’s story!

I have been anxiously waiting for this 3rd book in the series. Stayed up all night with my wife reading it after it was released. Since finding this newer author, I’ve been hooked on her books and this trope. Story picks up from where book 2 finished after Atlas and Jo got married. Esteban definitely plays a main bad guy in this book, and I was not expecting the twisted backstory behind his character. Atlas goes through some heavy changes that Jo helps him along. I don’t want to drop spoilers, but the first doctor appointment scene had me and my wife laughing out loud. LOL the steamy scenes definitely gave me ideas. Trying to convince my wife now. You really see Atlas’s character develop in this book, and for the better. The last third of the book, I was freaking out with the plot twists, but I like how it all played out in the end. Now I have to wait for book 4–don’t keep me waiting. I need to know what happens with Gauge and Opal’s story.

Finally the tables turn

Life keeps turning on marceo and Josephine as the past comes out to take the love of his life. With words of wisdom speaking from beyond the grave, marceo battles the biggest battle of his life. Lots happening in this book that it keeps you on your toes, wanting to see the outcome. Great read.

This third book did not disappoint. Everything comes together beautifully by the end of this book. I cried at a couple spots because I was so upset and worried with what was happening to Maceo and Jo. I even felt bad for Esteban at a couple spots, and no one should feel bad for that evil man, but I did. There were so many times I laughed during this book because the characters just get themselves into pickles. I'm a dog lover, so I loved the parts with Hades and Runt. I was so happy with how played out in the end, and I loved the bonus chapter at the end. Not many authors throw in extras for the readers, so I loved that. Can't wait for book four.

I always love a good MC romance series, but what I love particularly about this series is that the MC men don't treat their women poorly. Maceo (definitely my favorite hero) lives hard and loves harder. The sacrifices he makes in this book for Josephine are top notch. Esteban's meddling had me yelling at the book in some chapters. Just a roller coaster of emotions. Need to know what happens in the other members romances now. Gauge and Opal's story is next I think with how the author set this book up. But I want to know about Chase and Simone, and Punk. I need to know what happens in Punk's story; I have a feeling his is going to be my next favorite.

So I had to keep reading after 1 & 2. Seriously go to book one if you haven't. I had no clue what I was in for with this ride. It had me laughing, crying, and yelling at people in the book. An amazing ride that easily made me want to find anything else I can by this author. Also, I NEED MORE !!! These characters stick with ya, gotta say!

OMFG!!! This is one of the best story endings I’ve ever read! I’d be lying if I said I won’t miss Maceo and Josephine. I will do so much. This is the 3rd and final installment in their troubled love story! But the series doesn't end there, next is Engaging Opal, and Chasing Simone!

The book can be read as standalone, but please start with Lips on my Heart, then Lips on my Soul before you start Lips on my World. Your reading experience will be different as you’ll get pulled into the story.

Esteban Moreno is a shadow in Maceo's life since he was born, and he has to eliminate this last threat to his family and have his deserved Happily Ever After with Josephine, his Pixie.

If this is your first book, Maceo is Atlas, the president of Mercy Ravens, a motorcycle club where most of the members are ex-military men. They are Alphas, dominant, deliciously hot, and protectors of their women. They are not ashamed to shed tears for their ladies, nor afraid to fight for them.

Josephine is a kickass heroine, a petite spitfire, and she has been through a lot. She goes to therapy and convinces Maceo to do the same. Be an example for his team and work on his anger problems, most of it because of this drug lord Esteban.

The story is packed with action, missions, kidnappings, tortures, and hot, spicy moments to leave you swooning. Maceo and Josephine win your heart and you feel in your skin their angst and despair to fight against all odds to survive.

The book is fast-paced, there are a lot of secondary characters, and here’s the miracle, you don’t get confused between them! Most of the guys are part of Maceo’s crew, and the people who also live in the headquarters. They are super important for the stories, and there are a lot of laughs with them. They teach about unity, loyalty, friendship, and family, blood or not. Quoting my favorite cartoon: Family means no one gets left behind!

The ending was full of adrenaline, and I loved it! It was the perfect closing for their beautiful story! If you love Alpha bikers, tall bad boys, strong heroines, scorching hot moments, and lots of action, do yourself a favor and grab a copy of this book, you’re gonna have the time of your life!

Maceo and Jo are on their honeymoon, but his thoughts are on what's happening back on. He's trying to hide it from Jo, but after a few days, she's had enough and lays into them. Once they hash it out, they decide to come home early. Stalker #3, Esteban, knows where they are and is making plans to take Jo. Reading his dad's journal, though, may break you. Then, on top of the high-risk pregnancy, the Mob is back. There's a plot twist you may or may not see coming. But make no mistake, the world will burn if Jo isn't safe.

What a roller-coaster. So glad for how this plot line played out. I don't like cliffhangers, but there was no way to fit all this into 1 book. Opal's next.

When I started this series I thought it would be like most motorcycle club romance books. A hot headed alpha male, a stubborn take no shit from anyone female, and a villain to end all villains. And to a point it is, but it truly goes beyond that scenario I love how the author keeps tabs on every brother and their possible significant other. Helping each character shine, Atlas and Jo are the main characters but you truly get a feel for each brother. Like Punk, I was really glad that we found out that his ex girlfriend dumped him for his own damn brother! I mean I was pissed for him and was rallying for Jo to take a hunk outta her. But seriously if you haven’t read these books you need to!

The Maceo & Jo trilogy ends with this book, but the series continues on with more mercenary bikers and the women they fall for. And the ending is epic. Seriously, if you love OTT heroes, this series is for you!
MJ Marino has created a world at the base of the Rocky Mountains that I wish was real. I’ve read all the books available in this series, and I’d like to tell you who my favorite character is but I can’t! My libido would say Maceo. My eyeballs call dibs on Gauge from Engaging Opal, and my head wants Chase from Chasing Simone.
But my heart says Jo, because she is one bada$$ woman!

Book 3 of 3.
This book a bit slower than the first two and also has more POVs (and flashbacks from Maceo’s dad’s diary) than the other books which doesn’t help the speed of the story either. Compared to the first books, this one is also less action packed. Not a whole lot happens until the 64% mark. We’re just reading about normal day to day stuff and everybody’s therapy sessions…
Having said that, after the story picks up at 64% I had a hard time putting it down! The finale was awesome and I have to say I really enjoyed this trilogy!! I will definitely be reading the other stories in this series!

Safety:
- No OW / OM
- No cheating
- Separation due to kidnapping. / no third act break up

This third book of the Mercy Ravens MC series featuring Maceo / Atlas and Josephine / Pixie as the main characters is a real rollercoaster of a ride.

Finally we get to truly face Esteban and learn his secrets, as well as discover his plans for Josephine and Maceo. As it has been with all the books in this series so far, Maceo’s MC brothers are prepared to protect their family at all costs.

Heartbreaking, moving and intensely addictive.
I’m so glad a took a chance on this series.
