'Rokte Ranga Din' is a collection of three stories -
a) আগুন পাখি (firebirds) is the story of Revolutionaries & Martyrs Prafulla Chaki and Khudiram Bose and their influence on the Bengal Revolution by their attempted assassination on Magistrate Kingsford.
b) বিষাণ উঠেছে বাজিয়া (The sadness has risen) is the story of the Revolutionary Group Bengal Volunteers and their assassination of District Magistrate Barge.
c) কালবৈশাখীর হাওয়া (The wind of Kalbaisakhi or the wind of Nor'westers) is the story of the Revolutionary and Martyr Dinesh Majumdar.

এই বই এ ' আগুন পাখি, বিষাণ উঠেছে বাজিয়া , কালবোশেখির হাওয়া ' এই তিনটি গল্প রয়েছে। গল্পগুলো ভারতকে ব্রিটিশ শাসন হইতে মুক্ত করতে বদ্ধপরিকর কিছু বীর বিপ্লবীর কাহিনী। এই কাহিনীগুলো ১৯৩০ এর বাংলার সশস্ত্র বিপ্লবের। এই কাহিনীগুলো আমাদের ইতিহাস বই এ স্থান না পাওয়া কিছু যোদ্ধার, যাদের আমাদের ইতিহাস মনে রাখেনি,এই কাহিনীগুলো সেই বিপ্লবীদের আত্মত্যাগ এবং বলিদানের সাক্ষী।
