Takuma has come a long way as a hero and lover, but just how did he get involved with the nine valkyrie sisters? Discover the oh-so-revealing origins of Natsuki’s first voyage to Japan from Asgard, and her passionate first lovers’ contract with Takuma! The future is just as important as the past, though— an unexpected visitor has arrived to tell the truth of why the valkyries were sent to Earth!
Least favorite of the series so far, though the cover is my favorite. Basically retelling of book one with some new scenes. Happy to read another installment but glad to get it done with and onto the next one.
2022 February Nothin but Love Reading Challenge Prompt: read a romance manga
Yeah, I just read this volume last month, so I got nothin' new to add. Still a really strong, incredibly engaging and fun volume. So curious to see where the story goes from here!
Original review on 01/01/2022 I really loved this volume! Takuma continues to grow as a character and it shows in both the fight and at home. Seeing how comfortable he is with the sisters was a subtle but touching moment. Also, finally learning what compelled Odin to choose him as the sisters' lover and his first meeting with Natsuki was really cool. Loki has come to Midgard and has some disturbing plans for Skuld, which does NOT make me happy. Overall, this was another solid volume in what is probably my favorite harem series.
