Trying to recoup his vigor in Sicily, Bill becomes entangled in the affairs of the titular countess, Aimée, and her enigmatic friend, Bianca/Carlotta(all the new female characters in this one seem to have several different names), both of whom have ties to revolutionaries and mafioso, which soon sees Bill making a hasty exit back to Rome and Cloris and Amy. After hearing of Bill's adventures, Cloris is convinced that the countess needs to star in her next film, a porn take on Lysistrata.

Several things set this one apart from the previous six books in the series. This is the first to involve a bit of danger and mystery, with a bombing and assassination figuring into the plot. Also, the cover photo is of a very different style than all the other soft focus Colleton covers and it has a photo credit, which none of the previous books did, belonging to Carl Kravats, who a simple google search turns up is now a food photographer! Carl wasn't just shooting bowls of fruit back in the 70's! Highly recommended! First published by Pocket Books in July 1976. 192 pages.
