A heart that waited. Another that didn’t. Can Shannon heal their past?
Join Shannon again in the ninth book of this series. The number of trinkets left in Shannon’s box is dwindling, but when she takes the gloves off for a pair of pearl earrings, her vision of a pair of star-crossed lovers tugs hard at her heart. Her search takes her from virtual Internet byways to concrete highways landing in Augusta, where she hopes to pick up the psychic trail. As she stitches the pieces together, the threads of unfinished business get tangled up with her own. And lead her to a crossroads that could either heal, or cause more heartbreak.
Sherrie Lea Morgan - A wise woman once told me that to reach your dreams, you must first put out your arms. In my case, I had to make those arms reach to the keyboard and start typing.
I've been writing stories in my head ever since I can remember. After realizing that having an imagination isn't all you needed to write a good story, I started learning the craft. Several years later and tons of scrap paper, notes, poster boards, I have published several books and will continue to do so.
I live outside of Atlanta, GA. When not working on a manuscript, or furiously jotting notes for future stories, I spend time with my family and two dogs.
Shannon Pryce is ready to return the 9th item from the box she found in the store she inherited from her great aunt. As she’s finally starting to find her place in Petrie Crossing, GA she doesn’t want to upset any of the residents, especially her boyfriend, Mitch.
Left trying to decide if it’s worth returning the item to it’s owner, Shannon is also left wondering why her past is trying to interfere with her future.
Author Sherrie Lea Morgan has crafted a series that keeps readers wanting more. Having stumbled upon this series in 2017, I’m always wanting more. I consumed this book within 24 hours and I’m already anticipating the next book.
Shannon and Mitch are finally engaged. Shannon decides she has to find the owner of one more of her treasures from her box. She sets out to find the owner of a pair of pearl earrings. It's a long, heartbreaking road to find not only the owner, but the man who gave the earrings to his fiance' as he left for college. She travels to Augusta and back quite a few times, and spends a while attempting to understand why these earrings carry so much heartache and anger as she powers through one of the last trinkets she will have to return before her marriage. This is a book I have waited for impatiently. It was well worth the wait.
