Arguably Sarah's three best books--in one bundle!
Behind Her Eyes
So deliciously wicked! I absolutely love this book, and it’s even better than the Netflix show.
I will keep this brief as it’s almost impossible to write anything of substance without spoilers. But I will say that this is a wild ride of a page-turner and if you can accept an unusual premise, you will be quite pleased with this book and its surprise ending that everyone loves to allude to.
Watching the television miniseries last year was actually my introduction to Sarah Pinborough. I’ve read almost everything I can find of hers since then. She is an absolute master of the thriller/suspense genre. Unequivocally a “1-click” author.
Cross Her Heart
Another stellar novel from Sarah P.
She writes the twists and turns of suspenseful thrillers like no other author out there.
The pacing is excellent and the story is compelling. The reader is constantly wondering how reliable of a narrator Lisa is, and the ending is extremely satisfying.
It is emotional and gives cause for introspection.
Brilliant, engaging, and a five-star read since that is the maximum. One of the most clever authors I have ever read. This book does not disappoint.
Dead to Her
This is the epitome of a five-star read. One of the best books I've read so far this year, by a long way.
Dead to Her is a literary triumph. The author is an absolute master of complicated plot and intricate characters. Marcie and Keisha are both tough and intelligent female leads. They are each written with expertise, compassion, and intrigue. The reader gets their compelling backstories, their convoluted emotions, and their innermost thoughts as all the wildness ensues.
I could not have been more riveted. This is a total page-turner, and I am already eager for a reread by just writing this.
Further--This author is quickly becoming one of my favorite living authors. Her twists and turns, suspense and drama, psychologically-thrilling writing...it's chef's kiss. She has an undeniable gift. I am so glad that she is not one of those authors who just churns out content for content's sake. When she writes, it packs punch and it counts.
