Miguel Imperial-Cordova's whole life revolves around perfection. He has the perfect family, the perfect career, a perfect fiancee. Perfection is a part of his regular routine. Every single thing has to be flawless. If it isn't flawless, it's no good.
Til one day, Saskia, a woman full of flaws and imperfections, comes into life and shatters his polished little world. What will happen when the shimmering mirage of perfection he has worked so hard to create and uphold begins to crumble?
I first read this book way, way back. My cousin wanted a funny rec (Taglish book) in wp, and I immediately remembered this one. And while she was reading, I was jealous. I haven't used my watty since the pandemic happened but immediately started this book because I want a good laugh.
And still, it was a funny, heartbreaking, and happy read for me. Still love Saskia's personality. I just think I have a different perspective now, for I wasn't agreed with some parts of the book. And love Migs and Saskia's children— especially, Tintin hehe.
so good !! loved migs and sasksia so much, they’re literally such a good couple 😩 loved the storyline, the pacing, the scenes, the characters, EVERYTHING about this story i loveddddd 😩😩😩 this is rom-com which i loved omg 😍 my fave genre <3 anyway, wala naman akong masabi basta it was really good ! definitely recommend!! warning though; it’s heavy. 🫠 there’s a LOT of heavy scenes so watch out for that.
