Learning that her biological parent is not only alive but also the head of the Ancience, Layla grapples with facing her true enemy: family. Her own flesh and blood is responsible for abusing longmas and seeking ultimate power by holding the world’s water hostage. Even though her allies at the Academy have Professor Bateson in custody, there is no simple way to stop the pollutants the Ancience has unleashed.

The last resort is finding the lost frame, as well as all three of the keeper stones it holds. Lore states that the trio of powers can be combined in one tool, and Layla’s determined to use it for good.

Searching for the last keeper stone proves to be more difficult than she could imagine, though, because in digging deep into her own history, she must confront the possibility she is both the answer—and the problem.

In the face of such challenging news, she must rescue her friends and her true father from the Ancience’s control while wielding otherworldly power. In the end, can she save the world?

This is the final book in the Olde Earth Series.

I hate to say goodbye to Layla and the Olde Earth group. But the ending was oh so perfect! Very well done Miss Daniels.

A great READ

I have read many books on Elves, this was very hard to put down. I would read this story until my eyes couldn't focus. The characters were strong on both the good and bad side. I loved all the mystical creatures. To the author please keep up the great work. The only negative , was I hate having to get book after book to find out what happens next. It drives me crazy. I can't get the next episode fast enough. Great Read. Love Myrcat

READ THESE IN ORDER!

Wow! Loved this series!!!!!

Only issue with this book was *** SPOILERS ***

We don’t drink salt water! So, unless there was more to the story they weren’t telling us, this infecting the drinking supply by poisoning the oceans was dumb! I get the ocean currents & that was smart but we don’t drink salt water!!!

The stories have been okay. I kept waiting for any real connection between any of the characters. They all operated side-by-side, but not together. Lots of loose ends. I especially thought Flynn was a waste of time and space. I don't want to read "extra" stories for resolution. End of the line for me.
