I'm a passionate woman. That's all there is to it.
My wildlife sanctuary is my heart, and no one plays with my heart—especially not a billionaire Casanova, real-estate-shark who charms pretty girls for fun. Yea, I called a spade a spade. That's Mark Yannick for you. And hell no, I'm not selling him my grandfather's treasured property. Yea, the bank is snapping at my heels for the money I owe them. Yea, they're about to foreclose. But so what? I'll find a way out that doesn't include taking up a ridiculous offer from a land-hunting celeb playboy. No way I'm getting pulled in by his chiseled abs, broad shoulders, and sturdy yet diabolically gentle arms.
Not over my dead bo—
Well.
Perhaps I could consider his offer. Maybe he really is more than what people make him out to be. But good heavens, this is dangerous! And now, I'm as confused as ever. Does Mark only want my land, or does he want me? Maybe that heart-throb, soul-stealing Adonis wants both, I can't say for sure. But one thing's certain; Mark's got charm. And now, I can't help but like him.
It's just a fake relationship. Nothing we feel is real, right?
How do a tree-hugging wildlife photographer and a playboy billionaire get tangled in a steamy web of passion-for-profit?
Simple, they fake it. Or at least in Lie for me, they try.

Wolf’s stories are notorious for leaving readers breathless, satisfied, and always craving more…
The second part is as easy to read as the first one. I little bit short but keeps you in the story. The relationship between them is still growing but I think the drama is coming in part 3... I recommend the story I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Lie For Me Part 2 is an easy quick read. The story line is okay, but not a whole lot happens in the section of the story. I don't feel a connection to the characters just yet. I am looking forward to seeing how their connection develops in rest of the series.

Teresa Wolf has written a short s5-star book. This is the continued story of Carmen and Mark. Carmen and Mark have gotten together to try and help each other out or so she thinks. Her feelings for Mark are growing stronger as she spends more time with him. Carmen has got some land that she got from her grandfather in an inheritance. She is using it as a wildlife sanctuary. Mark's father wants Mark to get Carmen to sell the land to his company Yannick Investment Corp. Carmen is under the impression that Mark has forgotten about trying to get her land. There are other investment companies that want Carmen's land. She catches Brad Thompson on her land without her permission. He tells her he just wants to talk to her. After she tells him no again, he tells her that he could offer her a great deal. She doesn't get to tell him anything else because that is the time Mark walks up. Mark is asked what he is doing there and he tells Brad that he is there to see his girlfriend. Both Carmen and Brad are shocked by this. What will happen between Carmen and Mark? This was a wonderful book even with the cliffhanger. You will need to have read book 1 before reading book 2 so that you have the back story about how Carmen and Mark started out. I would recommend this book to anyone.

Carmen and Mark realize they don’t want to keep pretending and they want to see if their relationship can really work. And during the first weeks it seems that way. Carmen even tells him a traumatic story that happened to her in her youth for which she have trust problems in her relationships, and Mark promises that he will never lie to her. And that’s where I see problems for this couple, since Mark still has his father and sister breathing down on his neck to finally buy Carmen’s land. In addition, he must also prevent his competitors from getting ahead.
I don’t know why I get the feeling that this couple is going to see drama and tears soon in their relationship. What will be the future of the Sanctuary? I’m looking forward to read the next book and see what happens. What about Mark and his sister? Mark will keep his relationship a secret from her?
I enjoyed this second in series which was more suspenseful & it was increasingly difficult to assess if Mark was serious about Carmen given the fact that he tells his brother & sister that he's going to convince Carmen to sell the sanctuary land to the family company. I hope he's just trying to get them off his back. Badies come out of the woodwork to add to the drama & it's all a bit smoke & mirrors until Carmen overhears Marc's telephone call to his brother. She needs to get off that rollercoaster ride sooner rather than later. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.
Loved the book it was great, the story was written well and the characters were intriguing, this is the second book to this series Mark it was through his insisted he will get Carmen to sell. Mark and his family stand to make a lot of money. He rings his brother and sister about the Sanctuary but she will not be in it. As people are starting to from every direction, Carmen is adamant that she is not selling.

This is the continuation from the first book.. Carmen inherits some land and Mark is trying to get it. Carmen is confused now about Mark now. He tells Brad they are dating, he and Carmen not he and Brad. This is still an up and down story and I am not sure if Mark is sincere or just trying to get the land. This is not the end of the story and we will learn more in the other books to follow. This is entertaining and a great story. I am enjoying this series. So worth reading.

The devil shows her horns here. I knew this book would bring me to the edge of what I have been screaming for. I have waited and waited to see something with Lily and then it did. I consumed this book. I'm waiting for the bottom to fall in the next few parts cause the build up in this one is just so great. He has put himself in a spot he can't get out of easily without either side catching his lies.
Carmen is feeling like she is being watch, went she follow someone to find it is Brad. Mark comes to her her aide. Tells Brad to stay away that the a dating. The process to decide that this is not just them fake anymore. It has been a month and Mark is happier then has been in along time. His sister Lily comes to ask him question we’re do they go from her.

This is part 2 of the Lie for Me saga by Teresa Wolf. Carmen hasn’t seen Mark in a few days and her helper has asked off for a few days so Carmen is alone at the Sanctuary, or is she really? She is seeing shadows and found a piece of cloth in the bushes along with some buttons on a trail. Is Carmen in danger? Will Mark come back around? Will Mark admit he has real feelings like Carmen?

Continuance of the story. Carmen and Mark are getting closer but he still hasn’t forgotten about the land. Let’s hope he’s just buying time from his family. She has other offers. Mark throws in a surprise at Carmen. I don’t want her to get hurt. So much is unfolding we have to wait and see the next book to come. A must read.

Another great short story, these characters are really easy to follow. The plot continues to interest me. I'm not one of Mark's fans and I definitely don't like the way he lies to Cameron but it has been a joy to read and I am anxious to see how this relationship unfolds. There was a few errors in writing but nothing that would discourage me from reading it. I recommend this story.
Carmen and Mark continue relationship but is it a real relationship or is it fake? Do they take it to the next level and what about Mark's commitment to his family company to buy Carmen's land? Another good installment in this series.

So suspenseful, I keep waiting for it all to blow up in Mark’s face. I sure hope that won’t happen, I’m pulling for Carmen and Mark. Especially since Lily seems so cut throat and not too nice a person. I can’t wait for the next installment so I can find out what comes next.

Carmen and Mark seem to be getting closer to each other. What I like about this author is that we never know what will come next. Brad is still pressuring Carmen and Matt is just in time to witness his unauthorized visit to Carmen's land. We just know the storm is brewing. Can't wait to see what happens next! I received a free ARC copy of this book and this is my honest opinion
I started this book super excited to pick up where the first one left off. I wanted to see the relationship grow between the two main characters. I have to say I was left wanting more. There were some scenes that seemed rushed and not as organic as the rest of the book had been.

As the story moves forward, more excitement unfolds. This is part two and the storyline is really ramping up and you are seeing more depth to the characters.

Book two in this series and I'm still not engaged. Nothing much happens here. I don't feel any connection to these characters. Several more episodes coming.........we will see. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Book 2's writing was better but there is still something off about it, almost robotic with the internal dialog because of the lack of contractions maybe? This book definitely kept my attention this time! I'm actually looking forward to book 3.
In Part 2 Carmen and Mark continue to test their fake relationship. They both start to feel more for each other. Carmen doesn't trust easily and is afraid Mark may be pulling something over on here. Mark starts to feel guilty because he truly likes her but still wants her land to appease his family.

Story line is great, and I loved the characters. I really enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend it! Unexpected twists and turns had me reading this book in one sitting. Great storyline and character development made this book a hot and enjoyable read!
Short story but I am enjoying the connection between these two. I need to know what is going to happen now because to many people are getting in their business.
