Falling for the devil was not something I planned to do. Especially not on the Lord’s day. But there’s something about the way he crashed into my life that had my heart beating for more. More of him and more of a life I’ve always dreamed of having. And the more I fall for him, the more my world is turned upside down. The Holidays are known as the best time of the year, but with the devil around, they turn into a holiday from hell.
It's not the worst book I've ever read, but it's not good either. There was a fair bit of repetition. The endless descriptions of clothes and decor were boring. At one point, the male mc literally mentioned how the sunlight shone on the female mc through his floor to ceiling windows. Who references their floor to ceiling windows? Oh, and we were already told about the floor to ceiling windows when the female mc gave us the detailed specs of the penthouse. I know that out there, there are people who enjoy this sort of pointless description. Kirsten Ashley spends hundreds of pages on furnishing and has a very loyal and dedicated fan base. Personally, i just think it's dull. Also, describing a car accident in a first person format is weird. Lastly, it's never hot to describe a vagina as a wet hole.
