A text worth its weight in gold. The translation provides stories that were passed down from generations which carry deep meanings and provide vivid explanations of history about kings, sorcerers, elephants and thieves. The author covers all bases, providing an informative index with contextual footnotes which not only clear up translations but also conveys cultural distinctions. This text provides myths and legends to those who might not otherwise have access to them.
