This was another sharp, sombre, witty, and hugely enjoyable book. It involved Sherlock Holmes, Irene Adler, Dr. Watson, Prince of Wales, culinary delights, bomb, and the evil machinations of a devilishly beautiful criminal mastermind.
Did I miss the Koh-i-Noor? Ah, my bad!
Overall, a "smashing" saga that would rupture a few purist's veins, but would allow you to chuckle (if not cackle) thinking about things happening within 221B Baker Street at any given point of time.
Highly recommended.

I've never actually read or watched any Sherlock Holmes stuff, so this is a first, and I really enjoyed it. The characters were a fun time and it made me laugh many a time. I could see the scene playing out in my head too

Audiobook review.

An undeniably engrossing book with great worldbuilding and plenty of surprises, excellently narrated by Christopher Power.

A review copy of this book was sent to me by the publisher. All of the above opinions are my own.

Sherlock Homes and Doctor Watson with their Land Lady; greet and meet a variety of people with problems and ambitions. Quite enjoyable tale, with it’s cross section of society.
