3.5 stars. Shadow service Volume 2 is another fast paced action comic but somehow I didn't enjoy it as much as volume 1. The story seemed to be all over the place and was hard to follow. The artwork is amazing but I just couldn't fathom where this plot is going from this book. I felt there was too much happening with different characters in this edition which was a shame as it did kind of ruin it for me.
Not sure why the supporting cast hate the protagonist for supposedly abandoning them or for being a traitor to their group or w/e when they literally abducted her like twice ? Then shot her friend? and she owes them nothing?.. self awareness I would like to see it in future updates I genuinely don’t know which direction these character dynamics are gonna go
Also seeing legit rat torture shouldn’t of surprised me so much
Anyways Stan one annoyed insomniac with magic and hope she gets to have like 1 good day sometime in the near future

There is a lot of build up leading to this but it feels like the windup is making it hard to feel for the situation. There are so many sides in this story I am finding it interesting yet complicated!
