Perfect Ending

I’d probably give this book 4.5 ⭐️ if I could.

This book was the perfect ending to this chapter of the Nightmare Courts series of books. It took everything that had been building up and causing problems for Theo and her men and settled them for her. It’s not the end of her story because the way these books are written, it will continue as support to the subsequent books.

The book starts where the last left off, on the island looking for her god. For Theo the journey to getting her god wasn’t as fraught as it was for Gogo. There was much less battling and more meandering. Theo’s journey wasn’t so much a physical one as an emotional and mental one. She had lived with apart from Faerie her whole life, embedded in the human world. She didn’t have access to any magic personally and to go from a world where women didn’t have any power to one where the princesses have it all is a difficult transition to make.

Theo has to adjust her thinking, the way she runs her new Court and how she relates to the outside world. Supported on her journey by her new god and the other men in her life, Theo starts to see the magic appear in her new life.

This book has love, passion, violence and politics, wrapped up with family and friendship. It’s a really good book and highly enjoyable, as is the whole series. I wish we found out more about the history of the men in Theo’s life as they sound like those lives might have been fascinating. Sadly this is one thing these books don’t do, they don’t dive deep into the characters. This is the main weakness of these books because the plot and world building is fantastic. I feel like the characters are real and interesting but I don’t feel like I really *know* them. Despite this, the book are engaging, entertaining and addictive.

I can’t wait for the next chapter to start which I believe is The Ice Court, which is about Eira, who is definitely and interesting character.

Princess Theodora is in full bloom! Literally! After the fight for her company ends, finding the men Faerie feels she needs, locating her Spider God (did he really have to be a spider?), and her Sithen coming up with Pink and Black roses! A darkness is still swirling with one of the characters and it does come to finalization.

I think my absolute favorite part is when Theo finds her Spider God and the location. OMG, every reader’s dream! I am going to quote it here because … FABULOUS! “Then light, light just ahead. She followed into the brightness. Blinking, a room came into relief out of the bright, taking shade as her eyes adjusted. A library. She looked up. Books. Books to the ceiling. A dome above, swirls of colors like a nebula. She looked down. Parquet floors in a dark black and grey and just beyond where she stood, a recliner in deep oxblood, a standing lamp with a stained-glass shade, a low table piled with books.” *swoon*

The authors also hit upon all kinds of issues in our current climate, they touch on LGBTQ rights, sex worker rights and a whole host of other things. But this is what they are trying to say; LOVE IS LOVE. Theo is a big proponent of women’s rights too, and she puts it on blast when she tells the world about her relationships on a live stream and becomes a champion of women’s rights.

All that being said and having read all the books these authors have written; Fever Court is my favorite. The author’s humor, love of writing, being different and just plain good stories makes my day.

Great spiderwebs

The conclusion to Theo’s story was full of spiders, MMA fairy style, and porn of course. Lots of twists and unexpected things happen to make this part of the fairy universe really interesting. If you like Gods, sex, hot guys, and spiders Theo is your fairy. Definitely read these in order as prior characters show up in each new addition. Highly recommend all of the books in the series.

I absolutely loved this wrap up of this portion of the series. I laughed, cried and was rooting for Theo and her men throughout the book. Nareau is everything that you think he should be and is sexy as all get out. Theo fought for and got her happy ending as it should be. I cannot wait for the next court to see how Eira goes forward.

I love the Fever Court!

I have enjoyed all 3 of the Fever Court books! Ultimate Devotion is a wonderful culmination for Theo and her men (and God). Finding her God, deepening her connection with all her men, getting to know her brother, stepping fully into her power! And the adventures along the way.
Thank you to the authors of this series!

Wonderful third book

This last book in Theo’s court was wonderful. Lots of steamy scenes, wonderful men and enjoyable story. I love her spider god addition. Can’t wait to see what’s next for the light court.

It gets hotter!

I knew that with a series the court was called fever there would be some heat! And each one gets hotter as you go on! This final chapter still gave me all the feels the first two did and kept my mind spinning throughout the web as it was spun!
