Prior to becoming a journalist, Dominic attended the State University of New York College at Cortland, participating in theater and radio extracurriculars and ultimately earning his bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media Studies. After graduating, he attended Syracuse University where he received a master’s degree in Broadcast Journalism. Dominic Carter is also an accomplished author. His memoir, No Momma’s Boy, has been regarded as “grippingly honest” by Newsday. Depicting stories of his youth in the Bronx with a dysfunctional family, this memoir is one of his greatest accomplishments. With his wife Marilyn, Dominic Carter currently resides in New York. His daughter has decided to follow her father’s footsteps and pursue a career in broadcast journalism.
