I Am Tucker, Detection Expert (Volume 6)

A Dog's Day #6

by Catherine Stier, Francesca Rosa (Illustrations)

Spend the day in the life of a detection dog! Tucker the beagle is more than just a friendly face at the airport. As part of the “Beagle Brigade,” he helps keep out invasive species that could hurt the environment. It’s a job that would be almost impossible for humans―but for Tucker, it’s all in a day’s work. Told from the dog’s perspective, this story also includes back matter about the breed and role of the working dog.

[Boyles Kids Book Tracker]

In this book, Tucker starts out being a show dog with Edward. When that doesn't work, he becomes an airport therapy dog with Edward. When Edward gets hurt, Tucker is sent to be a Detection Dog with the Beagle Brigade, with his new handler, Reggie. He is great at it!

Tucker did all the good things he was supposed to do at the end of the book.
