Liberated by the Warrior is the second book in the Guardians of the Universe series. Each title is standalone, but they are best enjoyed when read chronologically. Each installment contains brave, strong-willed heroines and dark, powerful aliens bound together by exhilarating action and steamy romance.
No cliffhangers. No cheating. Happy ending guaranteed.
Thank goodness for unlimited, because if I had paid for this,I would be asking for a refund. The reason for 2 stars rather than 1,was that when we first meet the heroine, Avi,she comes across as downtrodden, but not stupid. After she meets our hero,Nevak, she becomes stupid. I stopped reading and started skipping during, not after, the first sex scene. I don't care if he looked like the best thing you ever tasted, you were scared, didn't know him ,and he wasn't human. Like I said,I skipped ahead. Nothing made me want to come back and read what I skipped. Usually,I read the reviews before getting the book. This time I didn't. Big mistake. Also,as others mentioned, proofreading was non existent. Some books are so bad, they are funny. This one was just bad.

The second book in the Guardians of the Universe series a well written short story that kept me turning pages. Qroko, one of the fiercest warriors in the Zahothian military and human Mya's story of suspense, drama, danger, twists, turns, villains, and romance. We also find out what happened to Avi. A story that I found was well worth reading. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was a well written book with lots of action and heat all the way through it. You will get drawn into the story and care for the characters pretty quick. It is a bit of a slow burn that catches on fire near the end. It is a great story and I will be looking for more books by this author. It is well worth the time to read. It is a HEA ending with no cliff hanger.

Mya used to be gainfully employed but now the Nepharans did not even go through the pretence of being benevolent aliens. Lucky the Zahothians really were Earth's friends so the first wave did their best until more troops showed. The grammatical errors seem to increase as this series continues so there is that.
