I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Lexie and Liam have a history together, part which he knows nothing about. They have been separated because he went to jail. When he gets out, he and Lexie fall right back together. He will have to decide he can be a bad man and have a family. Lexie loves himfor himself, the good and bad. I enjoyed this short story. The characters were perfect for each other

Superbly written with a real sit on the edge of your seat story line. It is a fast pace page-turner and action packed with violence, suspense, drama, danger, and more. The characters are strong and likeable. The twists and turns in this story make it a really engaging and interesting read. Definitely recommended.

Lexie and Liam

I'll start with you could feel Lexie and Liam's love and passion for each other very quickly into the book.
It's not a very long read, can be read in an evening, the only reason I give 4 instead of 5 stars is that I didn't feel enough of the mafia vibe that is till further on but it was still minimal. It's more of a revenge and justice vibe.

Liam and Lexie story is a sad start and a big secret that Lexie is keeping from Liam and she doesn't know if she can let him back in or save her heart as she gave it to him the night her babies were created. The past is coming back to bite both of them in the butt. I loved this dangerous action packed book.

Gave me the chills

I love a short read inbetween more in depth, but wrenching books.

Miss Rosalie is one of my go to's.

This story of Liam and lexie is prefect. You feel the love before they meet again.. Liam has.been in prison , he finally out and looking for revenge.

No spoilers

But the ending, the last couple of chapters have me the feels.

So unsatisfying

I was hoping that I would of loved this book, but no, just luke warm like for me. He wasn't even "real Mafia" and that was disappointing. And don't get me started on the very little interaction with his babies. I will not follow this one up.
