I found this book at a local used book store in Victoria. I believe it is now out of print.
Raeside's Canada is written in an A-Z chapter format (From Antigonish to Zebra Mussels!). Each chapter begins with a a silly sketch, has a few pages of writing, and then one of Raeside's editorial comics to finish it off.
The topics are all editorials on Canadian culture, life, politics, economics, and everything in between. They include things such as the snowbirds, garage sales, government grants, the post office, and of course, the weather.
The book is witty and has some spot-on observations. Of course, by now some of it is dated, but it still a Canadian gem.
