Richelle Brunstetter is the granddaughter of Wanda Brunstetter and well on her way to being an awesome writer. I very much enjoyed "Leila's Longing". I enjoyed the characters, Leila and Aden. I do feel that the storyline was very good in the beginning. However, about halfway through it the storyline began jumping further in time. There was so much more that could have given this storyline more life. Instead of it being good, given more thought it could have been a fantastic read. I would definitely like to read more of Richelle's writings. Other authors that write books about Amish life better watch out, Richelle Brunstetter is going to be a new author to contend with.
In an area of Pennsylvania called The Big Valley, a uniquely blended Amish community thrives in which three distinct groups of Amish identify themselves by the colors of their buggies' tops - white, black, or yellow. Join New York Times best-selling author Wanda E. Brunstetter, her daughter-in-law, and her granddaughter in experiencing the stories of three young women who search for faith and love within this special place.
