Post-war Hermione’s life becomes insufferable when she is forced to work with Draco Malfoy at the Ministry of Magic in order to pass her proposals. She hates him. She really, really, hates him.
A classic Dramione trope written because I wanted to, no other reason.

Hate leads to hate sex. Hate sex leads to love.
Yes there is a plot.
Semi-canon compliant.
Hermione POV.
(aka: an anxious and overly thought out internal ramble)

Now with some art <3

[this is a story of two incredibly broken people who are at their lowest points finding each other and coming together. It doesn't go smoothly, and the journey is an uphill battle. The anger is very real and you should read the tags and warnings.]

I've read this three times and the author has promised this isn't abandoned so I have hope that one day I will read the last few chapters 🤞💕

**
Can't believe these updates are public and everyone can witness me spiralling and rereading obsessively😕

“I said I wanted you. You told me to take you – but I want all of you too.”
Hermione felt her throat tighten as the air in her lungs suddenly seemed to disappear.
“But–”
“Including.” Malfoy cut her off again as his grip on her hair tightened, and he dropped his head closer to hers. “The parts that are broken, the parts that you hide, and the parts that you hate – even the parts that hurt.”

I'm giving up on this @77% due to boredom.
When the story focuses on their relationship it's really engaging, and I'm not even offended at their characterization, it seems cannon enough. Their relationship is raw and both of them are hurt by the past and carry different emotional baggage, and they help each deal with it. It's really beautiful.

It's just that the story focuses TOO DAMN MUCH on really irrelevant stuff. Like their work and the conference and the fact that there is no plot whatsoever. There are so many words, sentences and paragraphs dedicated to some magical creatures legislature mumbo jumbo and herbology mumbo jumbo. I mostly skipped those parts, but I can't anymore. I read like half a page and space out. I'm sad that I'll miss out on the resolution of their relationship, but I really can't wage through this boring nonsense that is supposed to be the plot of this story.

I think this was too repetitive in general and spent a lot of time describing the work Hermione and Draco do at the Ministry. I mean, that would be okay if I found their work interesting, but I did not. That said, the author really did put a commendable effort into that.

I think it was nice that Malfoy had a no-bullshit personality and never left Hermione more confused or insecure than needed. But their relationship took a lot of time to develop, and we never got to see what happened afterward, since it isn’t finished.

I'm not convinced with the explanation of their hatred for each other. i mean. that anger was too much for just a misunderstanding. the progression was fast. didn't really like the ANGRY WRITING!!!!!?? and that cursive thingy every 3 words was driving me nuts.
