This is a book about wine, written in a style that is witty, quirky and full of fascinating information, from the DNA and migration of grapes as land was conquered—or people were “saved”—to the flavor of that first taste from your glass. The author performs popular “tastings” at Wagner Vineyards in the Finger Lakes Region of Central New York.
John is a great story teller. His book was very informative. If you ever have the chance to experience his wine knowledge in person at Wagner Winery on Seneca Lake, do it! You will not be disappointed.
