ok. finished it. it was dumb. the lessons were all really silly and intuitive. i learned nothing. i was also perpetually distracted by the grammar, spelling and typo mistakes! and this was published by EDITORS! huh?!?! lowkey a waste of 4 days of reading.

It was an alright book. Tried to be motivating but it was really like a high school version of broad quips and wisdom sprinkled with quotes from other actors describing Tom Hanks. Nothing mind blowing and a super quick read.

This is a lovely book that is perfect to sit on a side table for everyone to pick up and read a page or two at a time. It is a collection of quotes from people who know or have worked with Tom Hanks. It is a "feel-good" book that covers a variety of subjects in easy to digest pages.

If I were just rating the Tom Hanks' quotes, I would give this book four stars. But the trite narration between quote sections was really so shallow that it was meaningless ("Family is important." "Work hard." "If you fail at something, try again".) It was like reading a Hallmark Card. Not really worth the effort of reading or writing, in my opinion.

If you are an enormous Tom Hanks fan, (which I am) you will enjoy this book. It’s a good little coffee table book. However, it’s not filled with actual information regarding Tom Hanks and doesn’t say much about his experiences in film. Still worthwhile for a fan and it’s a quick read.
