I've actually introduced this book to my husband and we are studying it together. He is impressed by the logical and practical steps and has agreed to let me guide him through the steps. So, we will use this book to start the journey together! I've read many books on this subject and this is the first one that actually gives me hope.

This was an incredibly informative book, even for people who don't struggle with hoarding disorder.

A quick, but helpful read, Hoarding Disorder Help: 15 Minimalist Steps to Help You Declutter is a well-researched resource, and the author is clearly knowledgable about the topic, yet the tone remains compassionate. It's insightful, clear, and concise, and includes tips and strategies for decluttering a home, whether it's to get rid of unneeded items during a spring cleaning, or for someone needing a serious decluttering and deep cleaning.

It also discusses the scientific background, possible causes, and how to identify someone, or yourself, who may be dealing with hoarding.

I would highly recommend this to everyone who would like to declutter their homes, but especially those who deal with hoarding disorder.

What a helpful, compassionate book that offers 15 simple steps on how to control, organize and tackle a hoarding situation that may be happening. Sometimes the hardest thing to do - is just knowing where to start and how to get organized. Once you dig in and get overwhelmed, game over. So this book gives you steps and tools to work through. I appreciated the mental insight into the causes of hoarding too.
