I had no idea what to expect with this book. Actually, it's an epic poem, like The Devine Comedy. I got used to that quickly, but it turns out this is a collection of poems that tell all the various stories of Greek/Roman Mythology that deal with change. I think the title gave it away. Since I love mythology, I as very pleasantly surprised and enjoyed reading this book thoroughly. At 500 plus pages it is a job and sometimes I had to re-read passages to understand what was going on, but totally worth it. If you don't like mythology, don't read this. If, however, you enjoy mythology and have not read any since high school this might be fun for you. Enjoy.
