The book starts with several essays providing various perspectives (i.e. Jewish, Eastern Orthodox, Catholic, Protestant, and Evangelical) on the canonicity and usefulness of the books of the Apocrypha. The majority of the book, almost 1200 pages, contains the Apocryphal books in parallel texts/translations (Greek, KJV, Douay, The Holy Bible by Ronald Knox, Today's English Version, NRSV, New American Bible, and the New Jerusalem Bible).
